Easy to find and flexible check in - great when arriving by bicycle. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast nearby. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water for shower.

Lovely and clean with a big comfy bed. Large spacious room with good tea coffee AND hot chocolate.
A good powerful shower with lots of hot water.
Breakfast was great, with a good selection.
Quite noisy, there seemed to be a lot of young working lads staying, banging doors until late.
No bath in my room

Breakfast was served at the Crown. The walk round was very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent.
Didn't like being woken at 3:30am on Sunday morning to the sound of workmen using a bolster hammer and chisel to access a manhole cover.
