The view from the balcony is wonderful and the close location to downtown Carmel or Monterey made this stay so convenient. The area delivers a peaceful atmosphere that allows someone to relax. If you want to feel part of the ocean cabin life this is the place to book. Communication was easy and quick with Amanda. Definitely will refer and book again.

This hillside spot has sweeping ocean views and the kind of quiet that’s hard to find. We sipped wine each evening and had our coffee each morning on the patio while watching the distant waves crash along the rocky coast.
You’re far enough from downtown Carmel to actually decompress, yet close enough to walk. (Fair warning: the hills are real. Expect a steep incline both ways if you go on foot.)
Amber at Wright Lux Stays was responsive and genuinely helpful throughout. The house itself was immaculate and flooded with natural light. We can’t wait to come back!

The place was perfect for us and our two dogs. It’s in a great neighborhood and has a great view off of the rear deck. Very comfortable for two people and a couple of dogs. Carmel by the Sea is one of our favorite places to visit for sure.
