Staff were brilliant, perfect location for our travels, dog friendly, great restaurant and food on site and dog friendly with a brilliant welcome pack for them when we arrived. Value for money was great and the bed was exceptionally comfy. would stay again
For the price point it was exceptionally good for 2 adults and 2 dogs!

Extremely friendly and accommodating host and staff. Comfortable room with ample supplies of tea/coffee etc. Although it was a very busy/popular pub, with an evening entertainer, the room was perfectly quiet and restful. The menus, both for the evening meal and breakfast, offered a good variety, and we enjoyed all our food.
Although a varied main choice on offer for breakfast, we would have appreciated maybe a fruit juice and/or choice of cereal as a 'starter'.

Breakfast was good, friendly service and good choice at reasonable price.
Room was bland and dark. Bathroom bland. Shower good but tiny. Essentially all needs a moderate makeover to be more welcoming and comfortable.
Very odd that they stop serving food at 8.30pm on a Friday in August. We tried to order at 8.10 pm amd we're refused but the waitress kindly allowed our order to go through last. Kind. But what an odd time to stop. Noisy from outside in early hours of morning.
