Proper country pub with good atmosphere and good breakfast
Room and shower a bit small. Evening meal a bit unexciting. We have been here over 10 times and were disappointed - previously had room 10
Which was spacious - our room 4 was less so
And the shower was small. Food on previous visits was a bit more enticing

Staff were polite and friendly.
The en suite was very small. The hand basin was the size usually found alongside the down stairs toilet.
Access to the bedrooms on the first floor was by a twisted staircase, difficult to negotiate if elderly or taking
luggage up or down.
