Tokyu Stay Shibuya Ebisu

Having a washing machine right in the room is so convenient. The staff is also very friendly, and I’m highly satisfied with my stay.

Stayed here May 2026 - booked through Expedia and made reservations before the hotel officially opened in March 2026. Stayed in a comfort double with husband and room was advertised as having in-room washer/dryer but it was not the case when we arrived. However there is a small laundry room with two washer/dryer units on the third floor and we had no issues with using/never had to wait. You can also check the status of the washer/dryers from the TV in your room which is convenient. Room was extremely small and cramped for two people, but room and bathroom was brand new and felt very clean. Front desk and employees spoke English very well and were very friendly. Very close proximity to Ebisu station which was also nice. There is also no daily housekeeping (you can request for an additional fee), but we were able to get our trash emptied and towels refreshed every couple of days without an extra charge. For the price we paid I would have rather stayed a bit further away from the city for a larger room for the same price, but overall I was satisfied and felt safe (biggest priority).

I've always loved the Ebisu area of Tokyo for a couple of decades now. Now with this hotel right in the heart of it, I can live there too! It makes it so much more convenient for me, almost too convenient. All my favorite bars and restaurants in Tokyo are located within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Will certainly be back.

The staff was outstanding. Breakfast is special. There is ice cream provided with beer if you wish. Could have used some bottles of water. The location feels safe and is very walkable. Rooms are spacious with space for lounging and even preparing a meal.
