Loved the fact that we were staying in an old castle. The owner took my husband around the old part of the castle, which he loved. The accommodation part was very new and beautiful.

Such a lovely place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were lovely and combined old charm with a new conservatory that just looked beautiful. Just to let anyone know, the castle was built around 1409 however you do not stay in the castle however you stay in the renovated extension to the side. Myself and my partner were very happy with this as the showers were lovely and warm and the beds comfortable. Such a lovely place to spend my birthday. Thank you for having us.

Quiet location, short drive into Galway. Room was small but looked recently renovated.
Was hoping to stay in the castle but it’s under renovation. No prior notice from the property. Expensive and no breakfast included in the price.
