My medical appointment was for 7:30am... too early for breakfast. By the time I got back to the hotel, it was too late, so I missed breakfast entirely. Luckily, I had an energy bar! The high point of my stay was a walk through the nearby nature park, established by Mayo, to the best Italian restaurant in town.
I would have appreciated expanded breakfast hours. And free coffee! A bottle of water in the room would have been nice.

The location was so nice and secluded. The pool felt amazing and the food was delicious. The little gym came in handy as well.

Staff was exceptional. There could have been a better option for food and adult beverages
The place was dirty. The carpets in all the halls have not been cleaned in some time. You can clearly see the path in the hallways. The walls also have been neglected as they are in dire need of painting. And, not just a coat of paint, but masking corners to make the lines sharp. Lastly, the bathroom was not very clean. I found long black hairs against the wall next to the tub, a small, what appeared to be a blood splatter on the wall next the toilet. Kleenex box had one tissue in it. This is a result of poor housekeeping management oversite. That said, I would stay here again because of its location next to the Mayo Clinic. Staff was exceptionally helpful and nice.
