Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was fantastic, both the presentation and the taste was brilliant - we loved our evening meal here! Nice views over the water to the city and an easy walk to the boat landing area with restaurants and afew gift shops. Absolutely adore this island.
The hotel put a huge hold on our card and as this was an unusually large amount we quickly questioned the lady on the reception desk about this to fix any mistakes (the lady did not tell us the full amount of the hold she was placing on the card either). The lady reassured us that this amount was fine and did not remove this from our card. Feeling that this was not right we continued to re-check this multiple times and were told repeatedly that everything was fine and correct. The hotel then actually withdrew this big amount from our bank account (we did not owe any charges or damages and everything was pre-paid in full and correctly). It then took us weeks and weeks of calling the hotel and booking.com to try and get someone to fix this for us even though the hotel admitted straight away that we should never have been charged for any of this and a hold of that size should never have been placed on our card by reception in the first place. It was a shame this happened as I loved this trip and the hotel. Also be aware that lots of bug bites are common around the pool (particularly the artificial grass area), with a member of our group ending up with lymes disease from one of the bites (not the hotels fault but a note to others to use repellent!)

Cleanness of the room.
Breakfast is not included. Requested one hr delay to check out, the front desk wants to charge 100 dollars

We always prefer a room away from the pool and activities area so this was perfect.

Cleanness, breakfast and pool.
We arrived at 4:30 PM, but our room was still not ready, even though check-in begins at 4:00 PM. After waiting about 25 minutes, we were told one room would soon be available. There was also confusion about our reservation—the receptionist insisted we had booked a resort-view room instead of the bay-view room we reserved. She only acknowledged the correct reservation after I showed her a screenshot of the booking.
