The hotel was fun -- avant-garde interiors were always a surprise. The morning waiter for breakfast (Brian) was wonderful! He was full of joy and a great way to begin any day.
The drain in the bathtub/shower was VERY slow. A quick shower left you standing in water above your ankles. There was no cold water available after about 7 a.m., so brush your teeth early! Downtown Portland has an unfortunate homeless problem. Human dignity is important, but I really did not feel safe seeing people mainline drugs on the sidewalk.

Great location, close to train station and lots of restaurants, bars, things to do. Friendly staff and the $15/day credit was a great bonus! They gave us a complimentary late checkout as our train wasn’t until later in the day and also held our luggage for us.
Wish the adjoined restaurant/bar had more availability but don’t know if that’s technically part of the hotel.

Better not have breakfast than present something so poor
Breakfast, and rooms did not have kettle or coffee machine. Wifi connection in my room was very week, and only worked the the bathroom
