Decor is beautiful, great location, rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the employees are wonderful! The breakfast is awesome too!

We always enjoy our stay at Lark properties and The Gilded was no exception. Since we were traveling from New Jersey, the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our room was ready early. Our king room was open, clean, and felt very big. There was a large closet and dresser. Despite the bathroom being small, it was well designed and comfortable. The front porch and courtyard were great areas to enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee & their delicious chocolate chip cookies. The Gilded is walking distance from everything you’d want to see in Newport and a short drive from local beaches. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, away from the busier downtown area. Parking was easy and always available, despite The Gilded being fully booked. We will absolutely be back the next time we come to Newport !

The person who checked us in did not seem like they knew anything about it kinda leaving us unsettled a bit
