Great, after I finagled the door code and the long line to get on the one elevator to get up to the

I loved the Condo! Great View! Clean! Perfect in that respect.

I hated the old, dilapidated door lock code. Difficult, time consuming, worthless. Took two calls and one person 30 minutes to come up and help me. It was a real burden. A new lock would cure this problem.

Wonderful stay

The location the view

The shower door was broken the sofa bed was ripped and no blankets just sheets for it. The room was clean and ready.

the location was great.

the parking situation. The space was too small for our car. I damaged my drivers side front fender and passenger side door while trying to get in an out of the space. Also,I could not get out of the space if someone was unloading their car behind me. I believe the front desk could have helped me. There were many empty spaces on the lot. They said they could not do anything. The result was that a vacation that was suppose to be stress free was not because of my parking space.

property was outdated, it needed repairs (sliding screen door was not on track, mounding hanging from bedroom ceiling, microwave did not work, had a musty smell, and had mice!!!!!! We found the washer with wet towels that appeared to be there for a day or two and was smelling terribly.

the stay was overall pleasant.

it was a good location with tons of parking. we never had to leave the complex for the wedding we were at

some units were more up to date then others. our had some wear and tear (broken soap dish shelf in shower. curtains off track. bathroom vent fan that didn’t work) and sadly we discovered black mold or black dirt over the central air/heating closet on our last night there.

I have been staying at Golden Sands for many years ~ many different codo’s

chairs & tables on deck readily available & office right there for issues 1st floor was great

stores were closed on deck~last year open & food & drink bar on deck only open 2 days ~ no furniture on our deck - just 2 chairs for 4 people ~ couch uncomfortable ~ alarm kept going off in bathroom - water somewhere ~ beds had some type of covering that made soooo much noise ~ woke everyone getting in & out

Great family atmosphere. Staff is exceptionally pleasant and professional. Loved the convenient location and property amenities. Unit very clean and comfortable.

Sauna wasn’t working. The write up on this unit should have stated that it has a Murphy bed and sofa bed. Thank goodness I was able to deal with it. Would be a disaster for any body who couldn’t. Would have been nice to know it was on the first floor which actually was convenient even though it didn’t have the views.

beautiful hotel, but Vacasa sucks.

The hotel itself was excellent! If you aren’t into the boardwalk and want to be able to just stay at your hotel, it’s perfect! Entertainment, shops, ice cream, pools! The staff here was amazing and helpful!

But do not book a room that’s managed by Vacasa. They don’t clean, they don’t take care of any issues you have. Terrible customer service. The staff in the hotel are excellent! I will definitely book here again but not one that’s managed by Vacasa. We had no power in one of our second bedrooms, they gave us a parking spot that would only fit a Prius and then left it to the hotel staff to take care of. just terrible customer service.

The view

The condition of the room. It was not the same room as I viewed on line. Somehow we were given a different room than I booked. Filthy dirty carpet and torn up furniture that should never have been in ANY room! Wallpaper was falling off the walls. Needs a total renavation.

Nice place, beautiful view

Super easy to collect keys and communication from the renters was great. Beautiful view of the bayside and Oceanside.

Beds were not comfortable at all. Woke up very sore. The main room tv was fuzzy the whole stay. A few little things in the rooms could be fixed and it looked like the maid didn’t vacuum the carpet in the living room. (Wobbly glass table) (Curtains in main bedroom didn’t close all the way)

Columbus Day getaway

The views were spectacular!! The complex offered many facilities, though many amenities were closed for the season so we really can’t rate them. We a short drive to many great restaurants and the boardwalk.

The condo isn’t conducive for 4 travelers and seating could be more comfortable. An air mattress helped our situation.

The room was subpar, but our other things were enjoyable.

We liked the view. It was convenient to the venue we attended.

The air conditioning didn't work, they had fans everywhere for us to use (when we entered the room it was 82 degrees and it never got below 78 degrees, couldn't get TVs to work. Beds were uncomfortable, room was not very clean, outdated, tub was scummy and filled up with water when showers were taken, a blind was damaged and freezer shelf was rusty. I even called to let them know and never heard anything back from them to come look at some of our issues.

Master bath toilet seat chipped up, 2nd bedroom closet doors would not slide open (neither door), TV in living room, even at max volume on remote, was not loud enough to hear well, carpet spotted (animal in here previously?), hot water ran out first night, master bath shower water faucets coming loose, loveseat torn (covered by flimsy sheet, refridge old (haven’t had to fill ice trays in years!), walls soiled, frayed and unworthy of otherwise nice condo, light switch in 2nd bedroom not working, front closet (by front door) filled with trash (old, used wallboard with nails sticking out, etc.

Great Property Condo Needs Renovating

Golden Sands is a great property! It is right on the beach and has great amenities! We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the snack bar. The main property is very well maintained. The view from our condo was amazing and it was a nice space for our family.

Our particular condo (1112)was in need of major renovations. The furniture has torn places, the bathrooms have mold in the showers and a broken faucet along with a broken towel bar. The bathroom tiles are cracked in several places. One of the couches was covered with a sheet. The carpets have multiple stains. Periodic maintenance is just not being kept up with. It was just not a clean, comfortable space where we could relax.

Location was great. Condo units in poor condition

Breakfast was good a lot of places to choose from

Both condo units were unsatisfactory. A/C units didn’t cool the condo. Furniture was stained and ripped. Bedroom and closet doors were broken and not working properly, water gushing out of the cold water faucet in the bathroom. Cracks in floor tiles and bedrooms ceiling. Washer and dryer units unacceptable and venting into the condo unit. One unit have no central a/c and was using two portable A/C units not allow access out to the outside balcony. Parking for one unit was very difficult between two concrete columns had to close both side view mirrors and be guided into the space with only inches between each column. These two units were not what we seen in the advertisement and very disappointing for the money we spent.
