The location is a 10 minute walk from major sites we wanted to visit, namely the Colosseum, the forums, the Victor Emanuel Monument, etc., and from plenty of cafes for lunch and gelato! The staff, especially Rosanna, was so friendly and helpful, calling cabs for us, setting up early breakfasts, giving advice on where to avoid pickpockets hang out, etc.. Breakfast was included and delicious. Rooms were spacious and clean.
A bigger shower would have been nice, but to be fair, most showers in Italy were pretty tiny, so this is not something unusual. Only one of the eight hotels we stayed at had a shower that was reasonable by my American standards.

Breakfast was as wonderful and the neighborhood had lots of restaurants and shops
we had problems with the keys ... one for the door on the street , another for entrance to the area where our room was and a third key to our room

Great location in Monti & loved the recommendation for La Taverna (ate there 3 times). Also loved the gelato shop in the corner.
WiFi was in & out during our stay but they were aware & trying to get it fixed.
