Good location within walking distance to and from the metro, night market and plenty of shops along the main and parallel streets. Breakfast was heathy and delicious. Hui and Ting who managed the breakfast room were welcoming, warm and friendly as were Caroline, Jowel and Amanda at the front desk! Housekeeping cleaned daily replacing used towels with clean towels. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Dandy six nights and as a solo traveler the staff made me feel right at home with them!

If you are looking for something different than the standard householdnames but afraid to book something local, book Dandy. It is small but has a charme and has almost an boutique vibe and lies right in the hussle of Taipei.
The staff is wonderfull and speak english, room is clean and the bed comfy.
Breakfast is good but for your europeans and americans, the focus lies on the local kitchen (wich is great). Yess there is some toast and a croissant (not fresh) but mainly vegetables.
The building is old (that is a charm) but the soundisolation is lacking a bit. Not a major concern. If you can afford, get the somewhat larger room if you are staying for a longer time. It is money Well spent.
It is a 3 star hotel in a certain price range so not everything is perfect and there is some wear. But is als a oase of peace in a crazy and bloody hot city
If we have the chance to come to Taipei again we will sure book Dandy again.

The location is absolutely convenient, no matter in terms of traffic or shopping.
The size of room is fit for one person, got everything I need. I like the bed the most as it was so cozy.
The staffs in counter were friendly and helpful.
The noise from crossroad did not brother, maybe due to my room was in the other side of the hotel.
I think one of the best services they provided was cup noodle with chopsticks available during night time in case the hotel residents felt hungry. Thanks!
Will stay in this hotel again!
Maybe more breakfast choices on egg e.g. change to sunny side up egg / pan-fried egg from day to day

Spacious, quiet and clean room with ac. Free laundry facilities and nice friendly staff.
Breakfast was good but not many western options. The tub was too high, there was a stool to get in but you had to be careful.
