The location of the hotel is so nice with good food around.

Adding a curtain for the shower will help (the hotel staff said they will soon add)

The location is good, there are plenty of eateries and shops nearby, and it’s about a 10 to 15 minutes walk to Zhongshan MRT Station (Exit 2), depending on your walking pace. The mrt station is also convenient for exploring downtown Taipei. The room itself is cozy and well-soundproofed, which made for a comfortable stay. Though the space is a bit small, it was sufficient for just myself. Having a washing machine and dryer shop just along the alley was also convenient. On top of that, the staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast is mostly local Taiwanese food. I’m fine with it, but a few Western options would be nice. When I first checked in, the room wasn’t clean, there was a sweat smell, hairs, sticky floor and the pillow smelled. After requesting cleaning the next day, it was much better. I also encountered two mosquitoes, but managed to deal it myself. The reception and eating area could use better lighting because it felt a bit eerie returning at night when the lights were off. The hotel isn’t right on the main road, so you have to walk through an alley. My single room on level 2 had a emergency box under the TV table and emergency pillar along the side (apparently required by government regulations), which didn’t affect the room’s functionality but felt a bit odd to see it. Lastly, the price felt a little high for a smaller hotel like this. It seems more suitable for local business travelers or short trips in Taipei rather than a stay for those looking for a more polished experience. Overall, it’s a decent option if location and convenience are your priority, but a few improvements could make it much better.
