The check in was very easy but once we entered the house, it was very cold the temperature was 50degrees inside the house, there were not enough pillows and covers, sheets size were different that the sofa bed size it was mix and match with different sizes, very poor kitchen wear, house furniture is very old, if you need photos, I’ll be more than happy to send them to you

This house met all our needs. Very spacious and welcoming. Our yearly family trip landed this year here in Mammoth. Walking distance to everything important and staying in some nites to enjoy the two balconies was a plus.
We will look forward to booking in future.

Beautiful property (best we’ve had) in a great location! Accommodated our party of 11 really well. Very accurately described on line.

Great house, good location, poorly appointed, 2m house, high end nightly rate... The kitchen had a 20-dollar coffee machine, silverware that looked like it came from a garage sale, super cheap utensils, no trash bags, busted up trash cans, could not find, dishwasher soap, had to buy, later found a small dish with what looked like candy on counter, not under sink, etc. 7 remotes to try to use an antiquated entertainment system, one tiny tab of soap in the master bath, 10 yds to a touchdown and they fumble the ball, over basic inexpensive niceties, you would expect when you spend that kind money.

Good place for group
We rented this place for three families for a ski week and had a great time. The kitchen was relatively well stocked in terms of cooking supplies and the kids enjoyed the fuz ball table upstairs. My one complaint is that the management company was kind of slow responding to our request for more trash bags. We were only given one full-size trash bag, which sat in a plastic trash bin that was falling apart. When I called to ask for more bags, they told me that someone would bring them by in the morning and then almost 24 hours later, sent me a message saying that I could pick them up at the check in office. I assume that this is due to a staffing problem but it felt like they should've been able to provide basic stuff to us with little hassle. Also, we couldn't find a broom or a vacuum at the house, and were told that we could pick those up at the office as well - seems like they could have at least had a little dust buster. Otherwise, though, the house was great.

Big, clean and beautiful.
The house was as described, very clean, roomy with a beautiful kitchen. We will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

The property is outstanding for 1-2 families or as in our case, middle-age professionals doing a friends annual reunion trip. It was so inviting and in spite of being walking distance from the Village, we didn't leave the house at night, opting instead to use the cooking and bbq facilities and enjoying the golf-course view through very tall windows.

The house is on a beautiful golf course. It is a big house, clean and well designed. The village is within walking distance, which offers an excellent selection of restaurants. Our stay was full of disappointments in this house. Please take all the comments and ratings of this house by other users very seriously before booking this place.
After checking in, we walked into the house with no AC, and the inside temperature was 92 degrees. The ceiling fans didn’t offer help. Opening the windows was no less than a struggle. The windows were jammed, hard to open, and the shades were all tangled up. There was no laundry detergent, toiletries were less than essential quality, living room TV and fan remote batteries were almost out, garage doors remote worked intermittently, etc. My son had a tough time breathing inside the house due to some allergies from the bed linen and sofa in the living room. We ended up leaving two days earlier than our checkout date. I tried explaining the breathing issue to the host and asked if we would get any refund, but he straight out refused it, offered no help instead reminded me that according to the contract, we would get no money back. Mammoth Lakes is a beautiful place. We come here every year. We were hoping to have a blast after a long pandemic, but this house ruined our summer vacation.

Our family stayed at this home for a long weekend. The few positive things about this home were the size and bathroom/bedroom combinations as well as the location. One suggestion would be to update the pots and pans, kitchen dishes and utensils. The sofa is also very old and not so comfortable. The home could have used a more thorough cleaning. Cobwebs on lighting fixtures. The rug in the master bathroom is unnecessary as it looks to be a rug that can’t be washed in the washing machine after each stay.
While these things didn’t hugely impact our stay this property was quite expensive and advertised with a “gourmet kitchen”.
Over all we enjoyed our time together.

Cabin was beautiful and spacious. Our group of twelve did not feel crowded and we loved that each room had its own bathroom. Kitchen was amazing, everything we needed, was provided. We did have some issues with the air conditioning. It would be between 84-90 degrees inside (upstairs) and we were uncomfortable. Two of the blinds in living room did not work, so the sun would hit us, making us retreat to kitchen. Lights in bathroom of 3rd bedroom didn't work and balcony had too many cobwebs for my liking of spiders. The foozball was broken (a handle and red defense player). Even though it was terribly hot, we still had a great time. Can only imagine how amazing the views would be in the wintertime

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Clean and spacious. Easy check-in and checkout.
Few things needs to be improved:
1. First concern: No locks in any restrooms.
2.Not extra trash bags.
3.Few places are not cleaned properly ( ex: saw old visitors stale food in few cabinets, drawers ).

It was a nice holiday season for our family
I will start off with saying we would totally stay there again. We had a lovely holiday with our family of 7 -14 people in a total of a 6 night stay. However, the WiFi did not work consistently we never were able to finish a movie. The garage door openers were mis-wired, it would open one door close the other, kind of like a comedy skit. The return air was completely covered in dust, a very heavy layer of dust. The entire home was dusty and full of cobwebs in the beams and fans. The kitchen was not stocked properly, we brought up our own supplies which was helpful, however if you say it can fit 14 people maybe have enough cups, etc. for everyone. There are not a lot of pots, dry mix measuring cups were not available. The veggie sink faucet was loose. The walls were chipped up, the downstairs couch bed was broken. Shower handle was broken in the first bedroom on the left. The downstairs bathrooms need to be repainted on the ceiling. With that said the home was large and inviting. I just want the next visitor to arrive with some supplies so they can have a great stay as we did. There are only 4 parking spots, which was fine they allowed extra cars to stay at the grand welcome office. We stayed in December for Christmas in 2018. The location was beautiful, the views were stunning.

Great location & great fun
Overall large spacious home. Some minor issues that can be easy fixed. Management was great when we called about the blinds they came out right away to fix them.

looks great but needs a bit of tlc
We were very impressed upon arrival, but soon began to find things that could use some attention. Beware the dishwasher does not work and the owner has apparently been slow on getting a replacement. Also, the kitchen needs a good going through. There were mismatched dishes, pots and pans, and things missing all together, like an appropriate bottle opener and no corkscrew. Some of the lights needed new bulbs, some door handles are in need of a screwdriver to tighten screws. The sink in the master bath needs some attention from a plumber.
we were here for a family memorial, the space was good but the needs were frustrating. The staff at the office did their best to help.

Fantastic Home . . . . BUT . . .
Upon arrival, we all agreed that this home was awesome. Lots of room for the 11 of us. BUT -
Although the home has "good bones" it needs A LOT of maintenance and TLC. What we encountered during our stay: inoperable dishwasher (found this out after it was loaded), slow and and stopped-up bathroom sink drains (sinks filled up when brushing teeth), broken micro wave turn table (so portions of the food burns), loose secondary kitchen sink faucet, faulty stove top gas burner igniter, and general unappealing appearance of heretofore high quality cabinets, copper sinks, and wooden sub-zero refrigerator cladding. Also - we found incomplete kitchen utensils/pots and pans (only one frying with a loose handle), missing and/or faulty window shades in grand living room (blinding sun every morning blanketing the dining room table), and (drum roll please) the living room TV doesn't work! One more thing - no BBQ utensils!!! Other than these issues, we loved the place! We strongly encourage the owner to maintain this amazing home in a manner it deserves.

Impressive house BUT...
The house was large enough to accommodate our family of 6 adults and 6 children including 2 toddlers and a baby. But maintenance and cleanliness were issues: a shower faucet handle was broken; floors felt tacky; kitchen trash can was filthy; there were no trash bags, kleenix tissues, or necessary long matches for the bbq. Although every bathroom had several towel sets, only 2 wash cloths were provided. We had to soak utensils to remove hardened food particles. The master bathtub had so much hair that it looked like someone washed their dog in it. After notifying the office, a maintenance man showed how we could use the shower without the handle and a cleaning lady swept and mopped the next day. Spoke to several people regarding my dissatisfaction, but was consistently referred to managers who were not available. Hope the next renter gets better results with my cleaning fee.

Disappointed with stay
14 of our family came together to stay 2 nights. Layout & size was ideal. There's where the good ended. Place states it sleeps 14. However, they didn't supply enough glassware or utensils for all of us to eat. We shared utensils. Water glasses- there were about 10, 4 different types. No wine glasses. Not enough bowls. BBQ supplied but no hot pads, no bbq utensils to cook food with. we found 2 wood spatulas to turn our burgers- not the safest to use for bbq. Garage opener worked sporadically. 1 bath toilet was clogged. another bath the faucet handles came off first use. Dishwasher- didn't work. There's more. So for us to be there we were not pleased with the place and do not recommend this place for large group. Unless the owner starts taking care of the place and supplies according to the number of guests it will sleep.
