Passable

I did not expect such a nice pool

- Terrible stairs and no help to carry heavy bags - reception only open a few hours per day, so no one to receive any packages, lost bags. You have to sit there and wait for it yourself.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Nothing

The female owner is very rude and aggressive. I have never seen anything like that. In addition: no air con, the room is very hot, a lot of long stairs to reach the hotel and the room, they don’t change the towels every day, mosquitoes, bad smell, no fridge, a lot of noise from the outside and the bed makes noise when you move. Pay attention to all the bad reviews they have on the internet, they make sense.

Perfect for Cala Major or going to Palma or Magaluf.

Central to where we were visiting friends who live on the island. Fan supplied in room. Cleaned daily. Pool was great. Basic room - double bed, table & chair, shower room, walk in cupboard with safety deposit box (Key deposit - Euros 11 for 6 nights stay). Balcony (3rd floor very high up) with 2 chairs. Bus to Palma (4 EMT) or if going to Magaluf 4 to Can Catala and change walk around the corner to the TIB 123. Great restaurants locally and shops for essentials.

On arrival dirty, soiled (menstruation) thong found hanging on hook in shower room threw them in the bin (we did not say anything to reception just dealt with it) Washed shower down as dark, long hair on walls.

Besides being very hot, good value for somewhere to stay

The room was very basic but clean and tidy. Staff were polite enough, I am unsure how other visitors have managed to get on the wrong side of them. The pool was very good, crystal clear every day and I saw it being treated each morning before opening. Always sunbeds available if you like to read by the pool. A fan is provided for each bed and there were ample sockets in the room for electronics. My room had a basin and mirror useful for personal grooming/teeth cleaning without needing to go to the shared bathroom. Shared bathroom was always clean during my 5 night stay. The hostel can make arrangements with you if your arrival is overnight, but you must communicate arrival time with them before your day of travel.

The room itself was far too hot! Although the proprietor obviously cannot choose the weather, be aware that this building absorbs a lot of heat throughout the day and the rooms do not have air conditioning. This means the rooms are also hot throughout the night, even once the temperature drops outside. The bed could also have been more comfortable, it was liveable but basic as expected for a hostel.

Bad experience

close to the water

it was dirty. my bathroom was not cleaned- there was still old shampoo and conditioner strips left on the ledge. My floor towel was not cleaned. the staff were not helpful. They gave me a taxi number to call to go to the airport. That company didn’t answer the phone. I told them this and they didn’t offer to help at all. No aircon and the room was very hot. There was only a tiny table fan.

Good value for money

Close to the beach, swimming pool ok, it was the cheaper option close to Palma, so obviouslly is not luxury, but have everything we needed. Two beds, bathroom, ventilator. There is a bus stop about 2 blocks away, with conections to Palma city center (and to airport bus stop in Palma). Many restaurant options and markets in a walking distance. Is possible to walk to the marina area for a night out (about 40min. walk). Good value for money.

They could be more flexible for checkout hours, we had to pay an extra night to be able to use the shower after the beach before out flight in the evening. They have two chilled out dogs living in the place but they do not makes any noise, there is dog smell only on the reception area, so it was not a issue. The place have many stairs and is located uphill, can be a issue for someone carrying massive luggages but ok for backpackers. Be aware there are no A/C, only ventilators.

Good place to rest

Great location and privacy, the pool is nice to have and is very near restaurants and 24/7 markets. Is important to understand this is a place to rest, mainly, as there is not much to do (no TV in the rooms, restaurant, AC, fridge) other than the pool. If you plan to spend the day elsewhere, this is a great option to relax and rest.

Bad

this is the worst place I have ever been.

I didn’t like the smell, the noise which was all the time. I couldn’t sleep for the days I have spent. the walls are so thin that you can hear everything around you.

would not recommend this place what so ever.

honestly there isn’t anything good about this hostel. it’s really disappointing for the price you pay. i tried to spend most of my day out. 0 amenities in the room. all you get is a bed, toilet, and a shower. no Ac or anything like that. definitely wouldn’t recommend. I’d recommend paying an extra 50-100€ and getting a proper experience. it’s a ripoff when comparing the prices to other 4 star hotels for example.

Exceptional

The location was brilliant, the place was very clean and the owner and his daughter are wonderful people. It was so nice to talk to Angel (yes, that's his cool name!) about his life's adventures and his daughter was super helpful. They collected a parcel on my behalf delivered by courier and arranged a taxi for the departure. One can't ask for more when it comes to a place to stay - warmth, hospitality and cleanliness. The lovely dogs were a bonus. It was nice to have them around!!😃

Not a nice place to go back to after a day out

The only plus was that it was close to the beach and bus stop. Also, the woman at the reception gave us a fan when we complained about the heat.

It’s hard to understand why a hotel would not have fans or air conditioner when during the high season is nearly 40 degrees. Sleeping was awful, as it was warmer in the room than outside and mosquitoes came in when we opened the window. There’s no wifi in the room and the common areas are outdated and not nice to hang at.

Great place for cheap price

It was nice place with great pool, room was OK, very close to the Cala Major beach or Bus stop (Nr.4/46) for going to Palma center

Exceptional

The hotel is good value for money, clean, nice pool, 5 walk to restaurants and beaches.

The only downside is that the area is next to Palma industrial harbour which means the beaches are not the best.

Worst place ever!!

Nothing

I didn’t like the attitude from staff and just had a bad vibe the whole way through! The swimming pool isn’t open and there is no fridge! I’m flea bitten head to toe!

Really hard to sleep at night.

Pool & location is definitely a huge advantage. Very clean which is really appreciated.

Very high price for a such comfort delivered. My girlfriend neck was in pain after sleeping on this type of bed. No conditioning, very hard to sleep. You can hear everything at night. Blankets are horrible, probably the cheapest.
