Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin, wir waren 3 Stunden vor der Checkin-Zeit angekommen und das Appartment ist bereits einzugsbereit. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche, bequemes Bett, sauber, sehr gute Lage, nicht weit vom Zentrum. Appartment insgesamt gut ausgestattet und uns hat nichts gefehlt. Privater Parkplatz direkt vor dem Appartment.

Die Zimmer sind relativ klein.

Great location, very nice hosts, easy access to the city. This is a great place to stay if you are wanting to explore North Iceland. Akureyri is the largest city in the North, giving lots of services and easy access to places like Myvatn (esp. Myvatn baths -- much better than Blue Lagoon), Husavik, Siglufjordur, etc. The hosts are friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive. I highly recommend this accommodation for Akureyri.

While the price is perfectly in line with what you expect to pay in Iceland, it's still a bit of a shock what you pay to stay in a small town like Akureyri.
