Enjoyed the basic room and location

Looking for a basic place to lodge. Very clean room. Convenient parking. Friendly staff.

It was clean, comfortable and affordable.

N/A no breakfast on premises. Location met our needs. The room was clean.

Some maintenance was needed in our room. Light bulb did not work in the kitchen, drains ran slowly, drapes on patio door hung backwards (tags on the inside not toward the window) and the screen on the balcony door needs repair and the floor of the balcony had not been swept off.

Pleasant

The rooms were unique looking and cozy looking. The was quiet and beautiful actually.

Short staffing made things a little uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the rooms. Also the pull-out sofa beds were very uncomfortable for my friends. We had two rooms which could have been beautiful if they had been professionally decorated.

In Baileys Harbor where we requested

Needs much updating inside and outside. Outside needs much cleaning to remove moss/mold from roof and siding. Painting needed on balconies. Bathroom needs updating. Not enough tv stations.

The location was great! We were a short walk from downtown bailey harbor the only concern was having to walk on the highway, but it was only 5 minutes. There was also a path nearby which led to the beach which was great!

There was 4 of us staying in a room with a queen bed and a pull-out couch. When booking the room, I included 4 people. But when we arrived there were only 2 towels, so we requested more, which was fine we got them in a timely manner. When we were getting ready for bed there was no sheet for the pull out and no extra bedding except for a small blanket. There was a number we could have called but it was late, and we didn't want to bother anyone, we luckily had blankets from home. We were able to get a sheet the next night. The room was a little crowned, there was lots of unnecessary furniture, but we made it work. Overall, a nice stay just a few improvements that could have made it better.

Dangerous and Disgusting

This place was absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately, all other hotels were booked, and we could not leave. The rooms had dirty linens, dirty carpets, and dirty cupboards. There was mold, and the entire place smelled like mildew. That is just the beginning. The oven had broken mechanisms that started to smoke and set off the 1 alarm in the 'suite'. The patio door and screen door didn't lock. So anyone could walk in from the outside. The air conditioning was broke, and the shower vent and drain were broke. The worst part? There were mice in the kitchen closet. We paid nearly $900.00 for 2 nights. The front desk offered us an $80 refund.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We actually booked the cabin, but it was not comfortable for all of us, The only place to sit was the table. The microwave only would run for 10 seconds and shut down. No door on the bedroom and stairs were too steep for get up and down for all of us. I went to ask to see if we could change rooms, and they were able to change us to a 2 bedroom, full living room and kitchen. We had an awesome deck and grills were provided. Very nice place, I would stay again.

Staff, outlets, shower. lots of in room coffee, balcony first night. price very low for location.

Many little things broken, lamp over one bed on room 2, missing knobs and broken knobs for fan, table needing refinish and broken balcony screen door etc on room 10 (where we stayed June 10-11.

I support small business owners, but next time, I will either stay on the bay side of town or in a chain. self serves at

filthy, dingy towels. they did not replenish them even when we followed their instructions. I bought towels the next day. I was disgusted to even stand on the towels they provided.

Never again.

I feel bad reviewing this place because the staff was very kind, but our unit (Juniper) was disgusting. They describe this property as “quaint” or “rustic”, but it’s not. It’s just outdated and gross. If they charged about 1/4 of what they did, maybe someone would feel the savings is worth the dinginess. The photos don’t show you how gross it is.

Great location on a budget

I was happy with everything. The staff was great, the location was great on the quiet side of DC. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot and the view was beautiful. Perfect spot for people on a budget who want to enjoy everything the peninsula has to offer.

Everything was as advertised. I was not unhappy with any part of the room or staff.

Exceptional

The staff members were very friendly. As soon as I checked in they recommended a bunch of cool and fun things I could do. I enjoyed the indoor hot tub in my room, the cute little fireplace, and how quiet the place was.

It was a very nice place with a living room and a fireplace.

If they would have a breakfast it would have made it a great stay.

we loved the porches to sit on as well as it being pet friendly and the fire pit.

Great location for exploring all of Door County.

Great location for exploring all of Door County. Even though right off Hwy 57, you only hear traffic during the day. Guys at the front desk were great!

A little cramped. Not much room to get to the bathroom with the hide a bed out. Have to hook and unhook up DVD player as it isn’t mounted on the wall and no room for a small table to set it on. Shower really small.

It was an overall pleasant stay.

Ridges is in a good location. It was a quiet neighborhood, except for some highway noise. It was in close proximity to the main highway.

There was no breakfast offered, we and did not expect one. Room could have been cleaner, needed more vacuuming. Refrigerator needed defrosting. There were odd holes in some walls, filled with pieces of fabric.
