So many thoughtful additional touches that really made it feel like a home from home; fresh milk and juice in the fridge, soaps, shampoos and conditioners, tea and coffee, even feminine products etc. Everything was clean and fully functional which isn't always a given with high traffic guest houses. There was a good quality fan which kept us cool in the hot weather. The bed was super comfy!
I genuinely don't think there's anything else I could have asked from this property!

We loved the excellent communication from the host and her warm welcome. The place is immaculately clean and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The shower was very easy to use, as were the two TVs.
The accommodation is opposite lots of lovely walks and a nice pub, where we ate dinner on our first night.
We loved the verandah and it was nice to have some outside space.

Host has thought of every detail for this excellently placed B&B; all areas well equipped with items needed. Fresh milk and orange juice supplied for arrival; there is a good selection of cereals for breakfast along with tea and coffee. We requested decaffeinated tea and oat milk which the host was pleased to provide.
There are added details that showcase the buildings previous life from years gone by. Puzzles and mini games are available.
There is the availability to take your dog by ticking the box on booking.com. We have a large dog crate which fitted in the kitchen with plenty of space left to walk around- as there is slate flooring all over I would recommend taking something to protect the floor from the crate - this we had taken with us and it worked brilliantly.
Opposite there is the Bel & Dragon public house, attended for our evening meal. Food was reasonably priced and delicious.
Nearby is the Sculpture Park for a local activity with lots of other activities within a short drive.
There was nothing we didn't like.
