Beautifully presented room and pub. Exquisite taste. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Brilliant breakfast and super staff.

Hambledon is a lovely little village in southern Surrey surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Lots of walking and biking options. The food was very upscale - not your typical pub food - and priced accordingly. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Rooms are small but newly and very tastefully finished.

The staff here couldn't do enough for you and the food was really tasty. It is quite expensive, but as a treat for a special occasion we didn't mind. The toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash & bath salts were really lovely). The room had been really well decorated and most things thought of. (I say most, as it was a shame there was no mirror in the room. It was a little tricky using the hairdryer with no mirror).
The only slight negative we had was if you stay in the garden room that has an adjoining door for families who wish to share both rooms, (although the door was locked as it was only the two of us), you can hear everything from the adjoining room next door. We were woken just after midnight by them returning to their room. Could hear their conversations and even the kettle boiling, a shame as everything else was great.
