13th century inn but modernised internally ideally located in the centre of the village. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
I was staying in the attic room which was very atmospheric with old beams but fitted out to a high standard. There were however lots of steps up to the room so I was very glad one of the partners did offer to transport my case down them on leaving

The food and the friendliness of the staff.
The bedroom was a little quirky. Like the rest of the hotel it was an interesting mixture of very old and ultra modern. I would have preferred some more comfortable seeting.
