Not wanted as a guest

The location at Sugar Beach is nice and quiet.

The stuff give me a Kind of feeling I'm Not wanted there. The smallest things Looks like Hügel problem. They were Not able to call a Tricyle Driver to fix the time for departure. I had booked a Tour in advance to Danjucan Island and try to organize a Transfer. The try to offer me a seperat boot Transfer, but this was in included in my tour, waitress give me a paper to write down my order.... Finally the Swiss owner was absent, and all of the staff try to relax as much as possible.

Quiet and simple comfort

We tried the curry chicken and it was excellent. Breakfast meals were also quite good. The onsite bar is frequented by many interesting local foreigners at night. We liked the bed mosquito net and also the separate lockable room cabinet for storing our valuables.

No A/C so nights can get a bit stuffy. Not a lot of beach chairs, no tables.

Good

Right on the beach. Cosy cabin/bungalow. Fairly quiet.

Not much on the menu, and a bit overpriced. Can't get coffee until 7:30am, ended up going next door for coffee. Generator wasn't running on Sunday when there was a scheduled power outage. Overall the place is nice

Sugar Lounge experience

Such a laidback experience. If you wanna break-free from work it's such a good spot to bond with your loved one

The beach was kinda littery maybe because it's raining for the past few days. The foods were also pricey although it's given as the place was secluded.

Overpriced resort in a location which you hardly can find.

Nice bungalows from the look.

First there is the way how to get there. Its a nightmare. No signs at all. You have to ask locals and most of them do not even know where it is. You end up there through muddy pathways. Second. The bungalows themselves. They are NOT cheap ( I paid 2000 Pesos finding out later that they sell it through their webpage for 400 Pesos less ). There is no aircon, no hot water, no amenities. Third. You MUST eat there as there is no other chance. Small portions with a quiet high price topped by a breakfast ( 2 eggs, some bacon and 2 bread ) for 350 Pesos. And finally there is a "Parking Guy" jumping out and charges you 150 Pesos ( 50 for the day and 100 for the night ).

Superb

Very friendly and helpful owners, beautiful beach, super quiet for sleeping, very clean and comfortable room.

It's a bit hard and long to get there but that's the only negative.

A beautiful place to relax and for diving and snorkling trips

The owner couple was very friendly and helpful in organizing things. We had good conversations at the well equipped bar. There is a dive shop next door, which took us to a beautiful snorkling resort. As the resort did not serve dinner we went to a place, a few minutes awayon the beach, where exellent food was served.

Everything was as expected and we loved the design of the huts built with natural materials.

Best Choice

We really liked everything about our accommodation. The staff and especially the owners couldn’t have been friendlier. Unfortunately one of us got sick and we’ve received a lot of help and everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place: friendly people, lovely rooms/bungalows, is wonderful beach and a shower with pressure (my favourite).
