Perfectly-located accommodation for groups, but only for short visits!

This apartment is very close to the city center (Sol), so you can go everywhere on foot. The existing dishwasher, laundry machine and tableware are really helpful for long-term visits, such as ours. The hosts are always available through chat/call and their reaction is usually swift (there was an incident and they were at the apartment really quickly, very early in the morning). This is a warm apartment; we did not even need to turn the air-conditioners on during January. It is not easy to find an apartment that can host large groups, so this is definitely a rare finding.

- The instructions to get the keys in the beginning of the stay were very clear, but the code had changed and we were not notified in advance; so we had to contact the hosts. - There was an incident with one of the group getting locked inside one of the bathrooms because the door latch got stuck. We called the hosts and they came really quickly, but they had to break the door eventually. They told us that the mechanism had been changed recently, but it seems that they are not maintaining the apartment successfully. At least, they should have warned us in advance. - The apartment had no wardrobes to temporarily store our clothes. - The apartment was decently, but not seamlessly clean originally and there was no cleaning or change of towels/bed sheets for the duration of our stay (6-7 days). - The bathrooms were not spacious. - There was no natural light because the few available windows were facing the interior part of the building.

It was a really lovely stay apart from the pillows and what is underneath them!!!

It was a very lovely studio apartment

Maybe the pillows having pillow protection covers on and better pillows as the current ones are too hard and badly stained when pillows covers are removed.

Soggiorno con bambini, ottima posizione, un pó troppo rumoroso

Posizione ottima per spostarsi in centro e vicino ad Atocha. Appartamento molto carino e accogliente. Staff super disponibile per risolvere eventuali problemi.

Appartamento molto rumoroso, purtroppo i rumori della strada si sentono tanto durante la notte. La casa, sebben fornita di stoviglie, detersivi e aspirapolvere, mancava di tovaglie e strofinacci. Gli asciugamani per la doccia sono decisamente piccoli.

Superb

The location was great, close to the centre and to various metro stations, as well as to Atocha train station. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Communication with the staff was excellent.

The apartment looks on the street that can be really noisy during the night.

Great location with a lot of beds made this ultimately convenient.

Despite being relatively cheap, the condition of this apartment is poor. Needs painting badly, the appliances are cheap and the hood over the stove doesn’t work. There are areas where the floor is coming up, which the owners are clearly aware of, as there have placed, now quite worn, painters tape. The only windows are about 7-8 feet of the ground and feed into a dirty area. The ac units were inconsistent and some functioned below adequacy, plus there weren’t enough remotes.

Nice location - near Puerta del Sol (City Center), spacious

One of the 3 toilets, the door couldn’t be locked and the toilet seat was broken. More double beds would be better than bunk beds. Wifi range not good in all rooms.

Great apartment and location

The apartment was lovely, with plenty of space and nice decor touches. The location was also excellent, easy to find and really central for exploring Madrid. Even though the street is busy the windows are good so it wasn't too noisy.
