Everything about this hotel was excellent…..decor, location and the staff. Mary working on the reception was great, friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again at a RR hotel.

Located right next to the Reina Sofia, Caixa Forum, Parque Retiro, and mere blocks away from the Prado, this is an ideal location for an art lover. There were many places to eat in the area (I recommend Cafeteria Neila for something more authentic) and a bus stop and metro station are right out front. The airport shuttle drops off an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel. The cleaning women were very kind, the front desk and concierge less enthusiastic. The shower was great.
It was very dark; maybe the idea is to be moody or modern, but I found the hallways very dark. The fire alarm in the hallway went off three times and when I called the front desk, they said it was just a drill.

Interesting design and friendly staff. Room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped, two tables and chairs were practical. Comfortable and large bed. Good location.
Terrace could be made more comfortable and and visibility to neighbouring terraces could be easily covered more. Terrace chairs were too low to be able to eat at the terrace table. Bathroom corner had a hole in the tile were ants were coming from. The nightclub just across the terrace with an open roof was very loud, no information about this was provided. Had to sleep with earplugs, maybe cool for younger visitors than us:) The safe in the room was rather small. Slippers would have been a plus especially for walking on the terrace. The bathroom would have space for a bidet or then a handshower.
