Very good

Amazing location to enjoy Madrid, and especially the nightlife. Steps to Plaza Mayor and Sol, hundreds of restaurants and many other attractions.

The downside is that it is very loud outside until 2am or 3am every night, and then the chocolate store opens across the street at 8am each morning.

Family house, realy down town, close to many attractions!

The location is exceptional. Everything is very close. The house is very spacious.

I hadn't realized that it was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which was a bit of a challenge as we were two families with small children and big luggage.

A perfect spot for a stay in central Madrid.

Very convenient and central location. Very clean apartment, and the owner gave us all the information we needed, and everything was very straight forward. Would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Madrid, and comfortably take a family group or group of friends.

I would not recommend staying in Apartments Coloreros, SOL, Madrid Centro

Firstly, I made a mistake with the booking and arrived a day early. Fortunately the property was not occupied and after a flurry of WhatsApp messages to Daniel, the agent, it was agreed that if we left the next morning before 11h00 we wouldn't be charged for an extra day. The location is very good as it is near the Plaza Mayor and the San Miguel Market. It can sleep a lot of people

I would not describe it as an apartment more as a hostel It doesn't look like the pictures and needs a massive makeover. The noise from the bars and restaurants below stops at 02h30 and starts again at 06h00 when they receive deliveries.

Perfect for most of the year—if summer requires AC, 3 bedrooms not cool

Great layout for 2 families/10 people. Plenty of bathrooms so no waiting, extra folding chairs for dining table. Perfect location for morning churros and easy access to Madrid

Only 2 bedrooms and main room with AC—had to keep doors open and arrange fans to try to cool other 3 bedrooms, still fairly hot with heat wave

Good location for exploring the centre of Madrid

It was in a great location and it had everything we needed for our stay. The instructions to check in and out very mostly clear and it was all really simple.

There were a few issues with the bathrooms (toilet leaking, one of the showers not working, broken toilet seat). I would also say that the decor is a little more worn that it looks in the photos but everything was still comfortable and there was enough seats for everyone etc. There was a lot of noise during the night from the flat above. Not the fault of the property but worth bearing in mind that you can hear people walking around

Amazing stay, 100% recommended

Could not of been more happier with our stay, 10 of us stayed in the apartment which was more beautiful in real life !!! Everything was clean and upto expectation. Communication from booking to arrival to when we was left was absolutely amazing and even had a storage space for us to leave our baggage after we checked out in the morning before our evening flight. Will be returning here and couldn’t recommend it enough !!!! Thank you

The property is nice for groups, located right in the city center and walking distance from the most famous spots in Madrid, but although they tell you is not noisy is located in a very busy place meaning there is a lot of noise during the night. Daniel, the guy in charge pf the apartments is very nice.

Parties in apartments were on during the entire weekend, (also de night from Sunday to Monday) we were there. We were in the second floor with kids, and had a group of people on the first floor and on the third floor parting all night long (music very loud and singing and banging on the floor). This plus the music coming from outside on the streets converted the night in a torture for us. Daniel the guy in charge of the apartments took our calls in the middle of the night, he even spent 2 nights in the apartments trying for the parties in the apartment to stop. He said he had no option but that one. No police was called or people being kicked out.

Never back here

Run down apartment. 2 out of 3 showers so small almost non usable. one bathroom with no cold water working, will scorch your gums and hands. Electricity will fall: breakers constantly going off if heaters are turn on! 42 steps of battling luggage in a second floor! Needs a complete remodeled and love to fit Madrid’s area. Disaster!

Brilliant location

This is our 5th visit to Madrid and we have never stayed so centrally. The apartment is so close to the Plaza Mayor, Mercardo San Miguel, Gran Via, Opera and Sol. Such an amazing location. The apartment itself was huge, really comfortable and clean. Loads of traditional features with the comforts of modern living. With so many great local places to eat the kitchen is just the place to prepare a drink, but you could easily make a meal. There are a lot of stairs to get to the third floor apartment and no elevator, so please be mindful of this when booking, but it’s great to be able to burn off the calories when eating such amazing food from around the city. Great attention to detail from security of the building to the tea and milk left and shampoo and conditioner dispensers. (There is a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, so if you have one at home, take a couple of pods with you. Along with a dishwasher tablet or two.). so a massive thank you on these things as we booked self catering, so expect to take a few bits and pieces from home. We loved it and Daniel and the team are really helpful and willing to help, just with the simple act of letting you drop your bags early, helps make the trip a perfect one.

We didn’t dislike anything about the apartment. It is so central so do expect noise from the various bars and restaurants. But that’s to be expected from a central location and nothing to do with the apartment. The double glazing and the shutters do cut out some of the street noise.

Magnafique Madrid

Absolutely tremendous stay in Madrid! What a fabulous location … we had 2 families of 4 travelling through Madrid for 2 nights before coming to Menorca. Simple access to the Metro and Train Stations and an easy trip to and from the airport!! Great little pubs, breakfast nooks everywhere … a real treat!! Loved it!!

The location was excellent. The owners also were very friendly and the apartment although it was in the centre was quiet.

Τhe photos do not fully correspond to reality. The place needs renovation. The apartment was quite clean but needs more. The door is not safe although they were cameras outside of each apartment.

Absolutely fantastic!!

We couldn't have asked for a better host, he gave us lots of local helpful tips to ensure we had a great stay. The apartments are absolutely beautiful in a perfect central location in Madrid. I can't recumbent them enough and would LOVE to return to these apartments again soon!

Really enjoyable

Location excellent, close to all amenities and lots of bars restaurants in the Plaza Mayor. San Miguel Market is a really good place to visit. Would recommend to stay if you like to be in the centre of the city.
