First - very friendly owners and staff. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome, with a fresh juice and explanation about the island.
It's around 10-15 min walk from the harbor. For further movement on the island the owner provides bicycles for free (there are no cars or scooters on the island). Great choice on tasty breakfast, pool available.
The accomodation itself is very stylish and new, outside bathroom was a new experience for us but we totally liked it. On the bed there is a net so you don't have to be afraid of i.e. mosquitos in the night.
We have prolonged by one night, unfortunatelly the another night was fully booked, would love to stay a bit longer. If it's your 1st time on the island stay at least 2 nights, there's a lot to do.
It's around 30mik walk from one side to another, you reach all the shops, bars, restaurants, beaches etc. by foot or bike in few minutes.

Sabrina and Claudio are one of the best hosts. Their accommodation is a little heaven in the middle of the island. We loved everything: the homemade delicious breakfast, the friendly kitties, the location, free bicycles and etc. The only thing we regret is that we only stayed for 3 nights.

Perfect location in the middle of the island with a beautiful garden and two nice cottages. We were staying in one of the two where we got every morning wonderful breakfast! Claudio and Sabrina are very welcoming and relaxed! The accommodation has bikes you can use, but everything is also within walking distance. It a calm and peaceful place, we loved it here and hope definitely to go back one day to stay at casa Azzurra!

We stayed eight nights at Casa Azzurra and loved our stay. Sabrina and Claudio are very welcoming hosts. We had some great chats with them at breakfast, otherwise they let you have your privacy unless you need something. Breakfasts are wonderful and plentiful. Sabrina has decorated everything with a 'beach' them - lovely blue shades. She's very creative. The outdoor bathroom was our absolute favourite - shades of blue, Italian tiles and plants and blue sky. The room is cleaned every day - new sheets every three days or so. Great service. It was in a great location - very central.
If I try hard I can think of only one very small thing. My partner and I found the seating around the pool a little odd. There are only two cottages so a total of 4 people staying at any one time. There are four sun loungers around the pool but they are all side by side (literally touching) which, for North Americans, is a bit close for comfort. We actually never had anyone sitting at the pool when we wanted to use it in the eight days we were there so the problem didn't arise and you can grab a chair and site it somewhere else on the grounds (which we did) but we did think about what we would do if the other two people arrived at the pool at the same time! There is space available so it would be easy to have two chairs, then some plants, and then another two chairs to give each couple some privacy. The current setup is shown clearly in the listing's photos so we knew in advance that that's how it was and it certainly didn't put us off booking, but we did contemplate how we could improve it while we were there. :-)

The breakfasts were delicious and very generous. It was quiet and away from the main drag. We were loaned bicycles for getting around. Both Claudio and Sabrina were very helpful and gave excellent recommendations for eating as well as for snorkeling etc. casa azzura is decorated with fabulous taste as Sabrina was an interior designer.

From the moment Claudio greets you at the harbour to the moment you leave, Claudio and his beautiful wife Sabrina will do anything possible to make your stay with them one to remember.
There are only 2 bungalows plus the owners on the property. The swimming pool is a good size and the bungalows have everything you need. Loved the outdoor bathroom.
Breakfast is amazing. there are plenty of choices.
Free bikes are available for your use.
It is located in the middle of the island, and no more than a 10 minute walk in any direction will take you to a beach.
We stayed for 14 nights and didn't want to leave.

Brilliant communication from the start. Claudio picked us up from the port and helped us when we go also. The bungalow was lovely, very clean and everything was perfect! We had the best stay. Amazing breakfast, you have lots of options. Claudio and Sabrina are very friendly and if you have any questions they’re always happy to help. The property is located in a quiet area but very close to restaurants/warung/beach.

everything, all of the other reviews met the expectations. I would recommend to book longer than intended. The owners are very friendly and willing to help with everything and makes you blend in the island vibes smoothly. I love the fact you can use the bikes because it makes exploring the island much easier. The property is close to the beach as well and they have their own private beach at biba where you can chill and relax all day. definitely coming back here once coming back to Gili air!

The only « bad thing » for us was not being able to stay longer ! We enjoyed a lot our stay at Casa Azzurra. Sabrina and Claudio are wonderful hosts. Super great to discuss with them. Gili Air is a nice little island without any car, only a few electric scooters, everything is very close so walking or riding a bicycle is great and local people are nice.
There is only 2 bungalows at Casa Azzurra, it’s a quiet place, very clean and comfortable, good AC, hot and constant water, bicycles included with the room, nice and clean swimming pool, and above all there is an excellent big breakfast with lots of choice !
Do not hesitate a second, it’s really worth it.

Super friendly couple to stay at. Claudio came to pick ánd drop us off at the harbour, very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and even decided to stay one more night. Everything was very clean and well equipped. We got fresh towels everyday and our room was also cleaned everyday. The airco was good!
It was nice to have a bike to easily go anywhere. The breakfast was really good and fresh; and had many options! We definitely recommend this place :-).

The room was great! Plugs next to bed, hooks & hangers, great aircon, good shower! Fantastic breakfast! We loved the granola in particular! Great to have the bicycles included too! It was great to have the owner meet us in our arrival and the pier and help with luggage, he also did this when we left as well!! The room was cleaned everything day! So clean every time was got back from a day out, and water restocked!
Not something to dislike but since the photo of the property was taken the trees have definitely grown. Not as open as it appears.

Claudio and Sabrina were amazing hosts. they were caring, thoughtful and generous. they assisted us with everything we needed. couldn’t as for better hosts.
The room was clean and spacious. The pool was perfect and the breakfasts were incredible. Everything we wanted we had. Also we didn’t realise but we all had bikes we could use to get around. Usually we would have to hire them.

I was looking for a quiet place to relax and Casa Azzura was a paradise. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. The place is beautiful, very well decorated, quiet, comfortable, the owners are super lovely and I enjoyed having a bike included in the accommodation so I could go all around the island. It’s very central, you can be everywhere in 10 minutes. It was the best accommodation I have been in during my Bali / Lombok trip. Highly recommanded!

Well equipped and comfortable bungalow. Excellent service by the hosts. While it's not next to the beach, the property is just a short bike ride/walk away. Plus, being in the centre of the island you can access any area very easily. By far the best place I stayed in during my holiday. Thank you Sabrina and Claudio.

Such a peaceful place to stay
The owners did everything to make sure we had the best experience: they met us at the harbor, helped with bags, explained about the island, which places are the best to visit + welcome drink and small present, very warm welcome!
The bungalow was clean and comfortable, everything you need is there, looks amazing, just like on pictures.
Breakfast was also good, a lot of choices!
You can also take bicycles at the hotel or walk to the beach, it’s very close by.
We had an amazing time and would extent if we had time!

Claudio and Sabrina were amazing hosts. Claudio met us at the harbour and helped us with luggage and walked us back, pointing things out along the way. When we arrived he gave us a full explanation of the island, recommendations on restaurants and spas and the best sunset spots. There were bikes included with the room which was useful.
The room itself was well thought out. Tastefully decorated in the colours of the Azzurri. Sockets in the right places, crisp AC, beautiful outdoor bathroom, seating out front of the bungalow. As someone in the property business I appreciated the level of thought that went into the layout.
The bungalows are set inside the grounds of Claudio and Sabrina's home, but with enough gap for everyone to enjoy their own privacy.
Sabrina prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning with home made pesto and sambal which I will miss! I had a mixed veg omelette, some beef sausages and a mixed fruit bowl. Coffee and juices too.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Azzura. As a family of 4 we had booked both bungalows. We loved the garden and the pool and tranquility there! The owners were very kind and helpful. We were picked up and brought back to the harbor by the owner and his staff. Breakfast was outstanding as mentioned in earlier reviews. As a German family we loved the Müsli. But everything else was also delicious! Best breakfast in three weeks.
For getting around the island we used the bikes provided and at night used our smartphones as light 😉.
We had a wonderful time in Gili Air and we'll definitely return one day and if possible stay here again!

Loved everything about Casa Azurra! Claudio and Sabrina were so helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable, with great aircon, water that was replaced everyday and a useful minibar. They gave us two sets of towels as well, so we could use one as a beach towel, which was really useful! The free bikes and swimming pool were great, but the breakfast was definitely a highlight. So much choice and it was delicious! It was everything we could wish for and we would definitely stay again and would highly recommend!

Beautiful staff, incredible breakfast. The bungalows are roomy and comfortable, the aircon is frosty, the bintangs are cheap and plentiful, and the pool and grounds are paradisiacal.

Casa Azzurra is a little piece of paradise! The hosts were exceptional with communication - upon arrival in the island, Claudio greeted us and walked us to our home. We were given a delicious drink upon arrival and were shown all the best places to visit on a map along with tips on daily life. Every breakfast was a treat! Both Claudio and Sabrina showed great care and detail in all they did and it is a place we will never forget! I would absolutely recommend a visit and am a little jealous of their idyllic lifestyle! Thanks heaps for an amazing few days!

Excellent place to visit. Quiet and comfy room on a small private property in the middle of the island. There's only two villas and we were the only guests during our stay. Great breakfast options and they insist on us getting as much as we want from the menu. If we ever come back to stay on Gili Air (which is likely) we will definitely contact Casa Azzurra to check for availability before considering other places.
The island itself was a bit quieter than expected which was great for me and my partner but it meant there were not many food options. By the end we mainly just enjoyed our free breakfast at Casa Azzurra followed by going to Mama Pizza Italian restaurant which was actually very good and the best option out of the limited options we encountered.
