Russel greeted us and made our stay enjoyable.

Nice pool. They made reservations for our boat trip. Russel is a great manager.

We enjoyed the location, the hotel, and the staff (especially Russell), and the bang for the buck.

The staff was excellent, English fluent, knowledgeable, and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a generous menu and hot coffee. The pool area had a variety of lounging and conversation areas and, at night, was well guarded. Except for the troop of howler monkeys appearing regularly each evening in nearby trees, the location was tranquil. Truth be told, we looked forward to watching the monkeys. There was also a gym and yoga area we used each morning. Finally, the bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom and walk-in shower huge.

The shadeless windows featured translucent glass rendering seeing outdoors impossible. If we had not brought sleeping masks with us, the outdoor security lights would have made sleep very difficult.

Unfriendly staff

Pool was clean, house keeping daily, good breakfast, great location right up the road from the main street and walking distance to the beach. Security guard at the front.

WiFi did not work in the rooms and the staff was extremely unhelpful. We tried to connect to their extended wifi meant for the rooms and bungalows but when the password wouldn't work, she took out her phone and told us that it works for her and walked away. Not only was she unhelpful she just was not friendly at all. Also, the beds are hard as a rock. They did not use the swim up bar. The AC in the rooms barely worked.

Very nice stay in Tamarindo, highly recommended!

Very comfortable room, nice location. The AC worked perfectly, warm water. The breakfast was very very good!

Superb

Excellent holiday bungalows with kitchenette, with a super swimming pool. Very comfortable beds. Set back one block from the busy Tamarindo beach - about a 5 minute walk which means you don't get all the noise from the road or beach parties. Close enough to Langosta beach for a more peaceful experience. Fantastic choice at breakfast and very friendly staff who were happy to help organize transport to Liberia airport (about 90 minutes away).

Amazing service

Amazing staff. Helped us with booking shuttle when everything was full. Very nice, clean, quiet and safe. Right next to the main road in Tamarindo. Five-ten minute walk to everything.

Very good

Great location- Less than 5mins walk away from the beach and main streets. Clean room and facilities. Bed was big and comfy(firm mattress). Strong hot shower, lovely poolside and breakfast area. Good, plentiful breakfast options.

The hotel stated its rooms or bungalows had either the pool or garden view. But the room we were in, #9, had neither of that. Nor was there a small terrace. That’s alright if you’re there for a night like we were. Not so much if you intend staying for longer, and paying nearly $100/night.

Great stay but wouldn’t recommend for this money

Nice pool, seems to be clean and not too much chlorine. And the beds are really super comfortable! the shower has hot water too, never had that before in Costa Rica!

Only the girls from breakfast and cleaning were nice and able to smile to us. Other then that, nobody was friendly or chatting to us. We paid A LOT for this accomodation and they put us in a room somewhere in the back behind the entrence (room 9). it was small, no place outside like a small terrace or balcony. Don’t expect too much from it like we did. The pictures look amazing (especially from the rooms) but All seems kinda outdated, maybe because of the pandemic. The pool bar is also closed. No shower at the pool, just toilets, keep in mind when you have a late checkout.

Superb

Site staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast had nice options, having AC was great. We were glad to be staying a little bit out of downtown, was a quiet and relaxing spot.

The manager wasn't super proactive about arranging some of the activities that we were interested in, but she did hook us up with a great surf instructor and we weren't very proactive about following up with her, so an observation more than a complaint. Tamarindo is a very easy place to DIY your adventuring. She was also very responsive when we had a leak in our unit after some heavy rain, and that was a much more important thing to assist with!

No complaints.

I liked how I felt valued from the moment I walked in… they were anticipating my arrival and already knew my name before I said a word. I arrived 4 hours before check in so they locked my bag in the office while I went out and made sure my room was ready asap. The security guard on duty at night was great, very friendly. They grounds are kept up wonderfully and has a lot of character. I wouldn’t definitely stay there again.

Nothing. Swim up pool bar wasn’t open but don’t think I would have used it much anyway.

Privacy!

Breakfast was Great! Location was good and privacy was good. Room Size was great.

Beds were very very firm. Shower heads were dated and need replaced.

Great staff, good location, and yummy food!

The property was a short walk to the beach further back from the main road which was nice. The breakfast was very good! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The swim up bar that was advertised was closed. The facilities are not the most up to date.

not with over $200 a night. I don’t mind roughing it but not at the price point I paid for

had a queen and 2 twins

was farther to the beach than I thought. room wasn’t cleaned daily. there were no hooks to hang towels or swimsuits. no soap dish or any place to put products in shower. product dispenser wasn’t filled.

Deceptive stay!

Breakfast by pool.

No coffee maker in room. No bottle opener. I asked for both and got none! I stayed there 20 yrs ago and got a bungalow and thought that was where I was staying this trip.

Superb

Ron and Toni were fantastic and really helpful. They made us feel welcome and were very helpful with town information and transit info to and from Liberia. The room was clean and comfortable and a great place to regroup. The pool was great and centrally located and offered a perfect and quiet respite from a long day in the ocean. It was a perfect place to cool down in some fresh water, read a book, have a cold one, and DECOMPRESS.

The only thing I didn't like is I didn't stay here a couple more nights. I could have used the relaxation and it's a good place to base out of for other day trips and adventures. Otherwise, not much to report here. This place hit the spot for me.
