Bad experience in Paris.

We spent 2 nights at the New Orient hotel in Paris. We came here because of the good reviews. Once we arrived there, we found that the square meters shown on the booking, 14 m2, are not real. Our room was a maximum of 11 m2. The double bed was too small and uncomfortable for 2 persons . The windows were not well insulated, we could hear the street noise, the room was on the street side. The breakfast was tasty, but with a very small variety of products. They called it "french stille ". Eggs, sausages, meat products and vegetables were missing . Other than that, there was no buffet. An extremely disturbing aspect for us. When we complained to the receptionist about these irregularities, he responded rudely and aggressively. We have expressed our desire to speak with management. This was not possible. He spoke with his boss. Upon hearing our complaints, the boss said: "If they don't like it, they can leave now " Such behavior is unacceptable! Do we recommend this hotel? No! Will we come back here? Definitely not! (The only positive aspect was the kindness of the lady who served us breakfast).

Reasonably priced small hotel. Well appointed common spaces.

Room were fairly small. Did not make a big difference to us, we did not spend so much time there, except for sleeping!

Perfect stay with a delicious breakfast

breakfast was really great (homemade French bakeries) with fresh fruits and a big can of coffee. The hotel is very well renovated yet with nice old fashioned Furnitures. Perfect location between two metro stations.

Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic hotel and it meets all my requirements! Cozy and french! Great location with 5 mins walk to bus station and metro station, also walking distance to some famous attractions, especially idea if you wanna take a walk after sunset and slowly feel the beauty of the city! Also many good restaurants in the nearby. And very friendly staff, just feel back home! Highly recommend!

Your perfect stay in Paris

Very comfortable room (we had the one at the last floor) and a smart position close to restaurants, metro station and Montmartre!

Lovely - we will be back!

Management and staff lovely - warm, kind, helpful and so welcoming. Perfect location for visiting bow and violin dealers! Also was an opportunity to spend time in the lovely Batignoles area with its lovely restaurants and cafes and to discover the Gustave Moreau and Vie Romantique museums, both within walking distance.

I don't think that I could bring my father here as steep stairs must be navigated from the elevator. Also, the bed seemed a bit small although it ended up being very comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but this is typical for Paris. It was definitely bigger and more comfortable compared to many other hotels of similar category in Paris.

Amazing location, great stay but poor breakfast.

The location is amazing! The area is beautiful, very charming and full of nice restaurants and historical buildings. 15 minutes away (by walk) from all the touristic locations. The staff was also very nice and accomodating. Room size was ok, bed comfortable and always super clean.

The breakfast was poor, not as expected. There is not a buffet but a menu a la carte and only sweet options available. Croissants and pastries were not fresh, a bit disappointing but acceptable. The lift was stopping in between the floors and with a suitcase was a bit complicated.

It would have been a 10 if the room had been just a bit bigger :-)

Very friendly, and helpful staff. The room was fully and recently renovated. Very clean, and very comfortable bed and pillows. A very cute, little breakfast area. My room was on an inside courtyard, very quiet; no noise from the street.

My room was VERY small; I could not even open my suitcase on the floor. It had to be on the bed. Very little closet space, not enough for even 1 suitcase. I was there for 2 nights only, so that was ok, but it would have been annoying for a longer stay.

This was honestly the nicest hotel I've been to in a long time. The decor is very tasteful, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast was amazing as well.

We loved it here.

We loved this little hotel near the Parc Monceau. The rooms are pretty, ours had a balcony with a charming red cafe table and 2 chairs overlooking a gorgeous Haussman building. The breakfast room is cheerful and sunny and the breakfast is excellent. Within a 10 min walk of Le Printemps. 3 min from the Gare St Lazare. May cafes and little restaurants. The staff, including the owners, are truly exceptional. Very helpful in every way; always ready to assist with a smile. Excellent value as this is an expensive neighborhood.

The rooms are quite small. but this is Paris!

Great hotel in a central location

Front desk was extremely nice, breakfast was lovely, the location was very central and convenient. Our room was very clean and more than enough for 2 people.

A nice hotel to stay at for a short trip to Paris - with friendly staff and a good breakfast.

When we arrived, we got a very friendly welcome and helpful information. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Everything was very clean. The location was also easy to reach.

We could hear a lot of noise from the neighboring room and outside our door. As we stayed only one night, we didn't let it bother us too much.
