The service and dining below The Ritz Carlton well known standard

Location

The service is too slow ! The breakfast lounge is disaster!!! Food has poor taste , plates and table were dirty there is no food variation !!

Overall good but could be better

Room was spacious, so was the bathroom. Room cleaning was very professional and the room-cleaning staffs were courteous and helpful. The concierge service was swift and very efficient. Location was exceptional, central to shopping, restaurants etc. The Li Yen restaurant on site was marvellous.

The hotel setting/lay out is weird and not very practical. Lobby in on the ground floor. You have to take an escalator to first floor, cross the entire building to find the lifts to your room. Front office staff could be more welcoming and smiling.

PAVILIONに近くて便利。マリオットの2階を通って帰れる。家族4人で2ベッドルームにLDK付きで破格！

眺めが少々残念でした。洗濯乾燥機があれば最高でした。

not kids friendly

not a kids friendlly. went to swimming pool there are 2 pool. i went to adult pool becuase of deapt. concern about my littlt one. here the kids one is deeper and my helper also short cant heat the groud so we went adult pool. they told us we are not allow to be there. so rude and not equal to customer. we paid around 9000 for 5days howrver the quality of customer service low. next time wont visit there.

Disappointing and cold!

Decor was beautiful .

It was very cold due to air conditioning too high! All the reception areas and lounges were empty with no atmosphere. It was ghost like, staff helpful but maybe guests were shopping or in their rooms!!!! Disappointed with atmosphere.

Not Ritz Carlton standard.

Location

Dated room facilities. The twin beds are too soft. It sinks in the middle . Even the sofa is needs upgrading. The throw pillows are too soft, need to replaced. The room doorknob comes out. The sink in the kitchen toilet is unstable. We really DO NOT expect these faults from Ritz Carlton- a brand name to be reckoned with. The problem is maintenance.

Great experience for honeymooners

- As my wife and I stayed at the hotel during our honeymoon, the staff prepared a very nice setting in the room which made it look more cozy and romantic. - The staff was friendly and very efficient. - The location of the hotel is only 1 minute away from shopping malls. - The hotel as a whole is clean. - The breakfast was a buffet, and it had a wide variety of choices. Also, food was fresh and delicious. - The dinner at The Shook, was also satisfying and rich in possible choices.

Unforgettable experience

Location is near to Bukit Bintang Very clean and quiet Free brownies everyday (it was soooo yummy) Hotel staff very helpful and always greet you with smile

Will be very nice when construction work ends (in a few years).

- 2 bedroom apartment was huge! - Very clean - Wifi worked well - Excellent location: Almost connected to Pavillion with all the delicious restaurants. aircon'ed bridge&shops all the way, except for 1 street to cross (which sadely reminds you each time of Malaysia's petrol stance: 5+ minutes of green light for cars, barely moving due to constant traffic jam, vs just 15 seconds for pedestrians to cross the 4 lanes road) - Aircon in first apartment worked really well (we could set it to 21 deg and be comfortable). Not so well in 2nd one: even at the minimum 18 deg temp setting we were sometimes a bit sweaty. Aircon quiet enough in both cases. - Firm&comfy beds

- The swimming pools were too cold and not very attractive. Kids swimming pool unbearably cold, and adults one only passable. Ritz managers: Go check the Sama Sama KLIA hotel pool to see how it ought to be. The noise! - First the noise from outside construction: A new skyscrapper is getting built just next to the hotel, the construction is currently around floor 20's level. Noise all day long, worst when it wakes you up at 7 or 8am. We couldn't get a room facing another direction. I'm not sure if the hotel staff couldn't or wouldn't... - Noise from the street, horning cars, bad during the day but quiet at night. - The windows didn't help at all with sound insulation. Very old, very leaky (for sound). One of them was "enhanced" with scoth tape (pic attached). - After a few days, a new upstairs neighbour started banging doors every few minutes for hours. We got another room easily (with same construction noise).

It was okay.

I liked the general ambience of a good hotel: clean and it even smells good.

The room was not well equipped as would be expected of a “Ritz Carlton”. The 2-bedroom suite was quite sparse compared to the single rooms on the opposite wing. The phone had buttons for making direct calls to various services. They didn't work. I had to call the operator; which is fine but it shows the hotel is running on cheap. The breakfast buffet was not that great either. I’m glad I opted not to pay for breakfast. I paid for one morning and its not worth the price. Plus, I think not including breakfast for all the rooms especially a 2-bedroom suite, which i stayed in, is a little bit petty. It seems like the Ritz Carlton KL is heading towards becoming like a “budget airline”: no frills and if want extra you have to keep paying. You need to have better imagination running a hotel of this reputation.

Our stay was Amazing and Comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Amazing with loads of delicious options. Its only 5 mins away from Pavillion and really near going around KL using Grab. After checking in, loving how friendly the staff was and my kids love them.

During our arrival the receptionist was not too friendly. I know we came late but at least smile and make us feel welcome. And Sadly our room air-conditioning was not cold enough since KL has a hot weather. The swimming pool was not suitable for kids below 6 years old.

Everything from the cozy bed, privacy and spacious rooms to the small details like toiletries, the upholsteries doesnt smell at all too

No washing machine, dryer and clothesline even though there is an xtra empty room next to the kitchen
