Nestled in Estero Island, this lovely cottage for $125 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The cottage is across the street from the beach .Aapproximately 100 yards or 3 minute walk to the gulf Everything you need is provided in the living area along with outdoor table and chairs that you can dine outside and enjoy the tropical breeze. Post hurricane, the landscape was damaged and the town is working hard to rebuild There are at least 10 restaurants open along with multiple food trucks Grocery store recently reopened and CVS is open Let Tranquila Beach Cottage make your stay as relaxing as possible! The sunsets are always amazing - 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 1 couch; sleeper sofa sleeps 6 people - 1 full bathroom - Open kitchen with full fridge with ice maker ,food storage spaces, and dining table - Covered and uncovered patio spaces with dart board and corn hole game - Hammock for your relaxation - boogie boards, and beach toys Beach chairs and umbrella all stored in laundry room Short walk to mantanza preserve and historic Mound House that has a fishing pier - Wifi network - 40" TV in living room with Roku; TV in 2nd bedroom - Private parking on site Private laundry room - Family games for a rainy day

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, enjoyed the beach which was very close. The owners do a really good job with communication and providing everything you need. Everything is very clean but could use a little updating. Overall it was a great place.

This cute little cottage was just steps away from the ocean in a very quiet part of Fort Myers. The cottage had everything we needed for the few nights we stayed. Bob was very nice and even called to make sure we made it in okay and to see if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! The property was peaceful, had great beach access, and included all the amenities my family & I might’ve needed. Bob & Molly were great hosts, & we’re already discussing our next stay. Thanks for the best Christmas ever!

There were 4 of us that stayed at this property and there was plenty of room! I met Bob the first full day we were there, he was doing some yard work, and he was very welcoming and accommodating. The house had everything would need at home and we were thankful for the beach chairs and the wagon, which we used several times. The house is so close to the beach, basically across the street. I did have a few questions before our stay, which Bob and Molly addressed in a quick manner. When we visit FMB, we will definitely look to stay here again!

We had a blast. Being THAT close to the ocean at a fair price and kind of booked last minute but everything worked out so great. The couple that owns this spot are very sweet and they keep everything looking amazing

We had never visited Ft. Myers Beach before. This accommodation was affordable and close to the beach. It is located just across the road from the beach. There are more modern, larger places to stay with a much higher price tag. We are giving this 5 stars because the hosts were hospitable and the place was simple and good value for the price. It’s really set up for 4 people. We were able to get away with 5 because our youngest is 8. We also brought our Yorkie, which the owner allowed. The host could not be nicer or more accommodating, and they really made us feel like family. It really did bring back childhood memories from a different location, when Nags Head, NC was not nearly as built up as it is today. As a child I stayed in simple/quaint cottages there, and this was nostalgic for me even though it’s in a different location. Thank you to the owner for making us feel welcome and comfortable.

I've loved FMB since my first visit and even after Hurricane Ian 🌀 I still love it!!
The rental had everything we could have wanted and was very cozy. We were all very comfortable there. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves each day. I found so many beautiful shells, most were occupied (we admired them took pics and tossed them back) which was amazing since so many other's had lost their homes along with everything else they ever had. Bob & Molly are the sweetest people! As I was driving home I was already thinking about my next trip there. I'm so glad to see the community and island rebuilding Thank you again Bob & Molly for your hospitality, looking forward to seeing y'all again soon. #FMBSTRONG

I don't want to say to much because the pictures do not do this place justice, and I want to keep it a secret for myself for my future travels, but that would not be fair for Bob and Molly. This place is amazing! I am so thankful they survived Ian. With so much devastation all around this place was lucky and did not get as much damage as others around it. It was Super clean and inviting. Had everything you need with the Kitchen. We just enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect! Bob and Molly are amazing people and are very caring for the people renting from them and make sure everything is perfect for you! I hope you are available next year when we come down as you are my favorite place we have stayed so far on the Island! Thank you so much again!

I came to visit my son who lives and works on the island. This property met my needs. It was easy for me to walk to the beach while he was working and close enough to bike to his home when he was done. The property came with a beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, and a cooler. The air conditioner kept things cool. The owners are right next door and very accessible.

This is the second year we have stayed at this sturdy, quaint cottage. Easy check in with the nicest hosts we have rented from. The cottage has everything you possibly need. The quiet beach is a short walk. We appreciate they allow dogs, which our dog loved the walks on the dog friendly beach! The area is slowly recovering from the hurricane, but we were surprise to see that some stores and restaurants have already opened back up. We can’t wait to go back!!

We arrived during the ongoing Fort Myers Beach recovery efforts following Hurricane Ian and despite how much damage there was to other structures up and down miles of the beach we found Tranquilla Beach Cottage had been a sturdy survivor. Bob and Molly had the cottage right and ready with everything we needed for a smooth and carefree stay, plus we were just steps away from the beach.
The community as a whole was hard at work on hurricane cleanup. While we can only imagine what FMB will look like when they are back at their best, the current situation was an incredible once in a lifetime experience to witness and the business community was using creative solutions to still provide visitors with everything you would expect of a beach vacation.

First vacation ever that we were not ready to go home after 7 days. Felt like home immediately. With great neighbor (owners). Not one bad thing to say. Our new home away from home. No need to look elsewhere. We will be staying here every time we visit fort myers. Can’t wait to get back there! Everything was as pictured and described. I could go on and on about the place. Just perfect for us!

Disappointed in value delivered for money paid. Towels were old and frayed, furnishings dated and worn, AC loud. Surprising this property has a rating of 5. The owners responded quickly to inquiries and Bob greeted us upon arrival. Bob’s suggestion of Junkanoo was great.

Great location, close to many activities, check in was a breeze, and tbe property was as described in ad. The owners were right next door and happily available for any of our needs. (We had none) There were also tons of beach accessories, a wagon and bicycles provided at the rental. My family enjoyed their experience there and in Ft. Meyers.

Bob and Molly were amazing before the stay even started. They were quick to answer questions. Upon arrival Bob made sure we had everything we needed . It was a short walk to the beach. The unit had everything you need to make yourself at home and really did feel like home. If you're looking for a quiet place within yards of the beach we highly recommend this one.

A breath of fresh gulf air
It was the perfect place for us. It was simple and clean. A great place to have easy access to the Gulf with all the supplies needed to go back and forth. A grocery store is close by and great restaurants, shops, and entertainment. We could stick around and enjoy the day or venture out to activities and state parks. I would stay there again and highly recommend..

Beds were comfy, air conditioning was nice and cold, and the beach toys were a big hit. My stepson and his girlfriend live in Fort Myers so it was perfect for us.
