I enjoyed the wonderful Yoga lessons and the ceremonies!
I extended my stay and cancelled all other plans - just too good to be there.

Decent bungalow with bathroom and beds
This was quite business orientated : the included free breakfast was really average and not good.. of course you had to pay extra to have the good meals. The swimming pool was not really working, water was stagnating (except during the water yoga class for people who pay of course)
I thought it was very basic and they try to make you pay a lot of extras with these business things (of course no free yoga class even with having booked +5 days)
At the end, seeing that this is not owned by local people of the island but by foreigners make it painful

A lovely pool, cafe and offer lots of yoga classes if you’re into that. The complex is clean and well kept. A reasonable breakfast included. We only stayed one night and would have stayed longer if we could.
We stayed in a room at the back which was separate and it was a bit dated. Clean and perfectly fine but would have preferred being in the main area. They were fully booked so only stayed one night.

On a small island in Indonesia and so many nice touches at this resort. Gluten free and Vegan options, initiatives to save plastic through water refills ( there should be more doing this) A good early check in time of 12 noon, other places we stayed were always 2 pm, a good crew cleaning the rooms daily, a calm peaceful atmosphere ( a welcome change from the party crowd hotels) and many classes open to beginners in yoga and meditation, smiling faces and good service.

I love that I can be on a small island, on the other side of the world from home, and the surroundings of this lovely setting tap into the universal love of yoga. The grounds are beautiful and I appreciate that you can have a private bungalow. I loved the outdoor shower, which had plenty of hot water.
The two things I disliked the most, the center cannot do anything about. They were that the location is close to the mosque and despite wearing ear plugs, a sharper image soundscape headband, and playing a white noise app, I was awoken early every day of my stay. Second, it's common that people burn trash all over Indonesia. I find it hard to do outdoor yoga with so much smoke in the air. The one thing the center could do is ask the staff not to smoke in the common areas. They were smoking after hours in the pool cafe area and the spa/shop area. That was a bummer for me as I didn't want to sit outside at the pool and gaze at the beautiful view of the moon and the palm trees and breathe even more second hand smoke. Also the Wi-Fi did not work in my room. I had to be on my porch for it to work. I would have sat in the common areas to use my laptop but again did not want to breathe the smoke. I know smoking is ubiquitous in Indonesia but I hate it. Also the bed was quite hard. I'd love for the management to add a mattress topper. It really needs it! The bed comes with only a sheet. A blanket would be great too.
Even given these imperfections, I would still gladly return and I'm glad to have gotten to experience this sweet place.

Loved the breakfast, we had a few choices but the Vegan pancake and the spinach / tempe were our favourites.
The other guests were super nice, yoga classes and the spa for massage were all awesome. It's such a nice peaceful space they have created, the bungalows were a nice design and cleaned daily. They had a Moon Ceremony on when we were there in the back yoga studio, what a wonderful memorable night. We will definitely be recommending H20 to all our friends and family!

The staff were always happy, the property is spacious and well maintained, there are different private places to do your work on line if needed( good WIFI) yet the opportunity around the pool to mingle and meet people.. a good balance. Reception staff were very helpful and the cafe staff were always having fun ( great breakfast) I can see myself back here again for sure.

The property is kept in a beautiful manner, Gardens attended to, rooms cleaned daily and friendly staff. I extended my stay due to the tranquility at this little oasis. Hammocks to lay in, a spa for massage, great healthy cafe and yoga classes every day made for a rejuvenating experience. I am very happy to recommend H20.

The location was great, only a few minutes walk from different beaches and located centrally that getting around and back was easy enough. The host (Jon) was really communicative, helpful and polite. The place had a lovely pool which was the perfect temperature. There was a nice combination of both air conditioning and a fan in the room we stayed in. The hamoc is also a nice touch.
The mattress was quite hard for my preference, but I fully appreciate it is located on a small island so not exactly easy to get supplies and certainly manageable for a few nights stay.
The breakfast is a bit basic but it is perfectly edible and reasonable for the price.

* The complex is lovely, clean, well kept and within a good location that's quiet and a fairly close walk to the beach.
* The onsite cafe has nice food, and the breakfast is 3 set things from their menu, or you can pay extra to top-up and have other things.
* The 2 rooms at the back of the complex are lovely and quiet, with their own shared semi-private garden space. The owner seems to live above them, and it feels safe. The rooms are solid, have good opening windows, and a built-in bathroom (rather than open-air) and have a nice seating area with a table out front. It's relaxing and nice.
* The staff, especially the cleaning and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful.
* The plug-in fan in the room was very helpful. A kettle would have been great.
* There's 2 big yoga class areas, a range of classes on offer and a nice pool seating area which was a relaxed vibe, but used by quite a few people. The communal area by the pool and pathways in are well cared for.
* It's an easy walk from the ferry port. (and easy to push your cases along as it's a mainly tarred roadway)
* There's a communal guest fridge you can use.
* The room could do with a deep clean and good air-out, as everything felt quite dusty and a bit musty / uncared for and a bit dirty.
* The spa treatment area is out the front and opposite the local garage which seemed to have a lot of welding and loud work happening there when we visited, which blew the ambience quite a bit (but not H20's fault).
* The centre wants to be paid in cash, and their bank details to pay online wouldn't work.
* Some of the yoga teachers were unfriendly.
* The cafe is in a different place now to the pictures (now out the front) and is smaller, and although the food is really nice the 'wholefood' and vegan aspect of the cafe's menu could perhaps be developed a bit more, as they feature it quite a bit.
* There's a guest's kitchen area (where there's the communal fridge) but this is very run down and sad. The seating area is nice, but the counter/kitchen area feels dirty and not nice with broken stuff; it seems a real missed opportunity.

Really good location, easy to get around. It is a well designed place with Healthy cafe, wellness centre, yoga classes and gift shop. I was able to de-stress after a period of long hours working. Laying by the pool I !!had everything at my finger tips including the yoga and other classes. Thoroughly recommend if you need time to reset

My room was spacious, had wonderful a/c and was quiet. Wandy at the front desk is very kind and helpful~ a gentle soul. Appreciated his energy. The pool was lovely and the Yin Yoga class led by John was really nice and relaxing.
That they were all booked and I couldn’t extend my stay~ had to change hotels when I decided to stay longer in Gili. LOL

H2O is an accommodation of great value for money with a very attentive staff and a beautiful (and popular) pool. The breakfast was filling and delicious. The room was clean and the staff cleaned it every day, so the upkeep was 10/10. Don't let the salty water comments foll you, it's a specialty of Gili Air. The room is big and airy, and the AC powerful, which really helped with the heat of Gili Air!
Unfortunately, the double bed in our room was quite uncomfortable and so bouncy that you could feel every move that the other made. Luckily we had booked a room with an extra bed, so we were able to sleep separately. Also, the WiFi didn't reach our room, but we were at the far end of the area, so in turn we did enjoy the privacy.

The bungalow was spacious and very comfy. The host was amazing and did their absolute best to make sure you were happy and comfortable at all times. The whole resort is really pretty with lots of grass and greenery, and has two yoga studios. There are a wide range of yoga classes but you can also use the studios yourself when there isn’t a class on. Things like the pool and adjoining cafe were brilliant, and the cafe catered for vegan and gluten free customers. Everyone there from the kitchen staff to the other people staying were extremely friendly and it created such a nice environment. Really sad when it came time to leave, and we will visit again.
Only thing was from the Bungalow the wifi wasn’t great.

Paradise accommodation on paradise island. We came to Gili Air for a getaway from Bali for a few days and ended up extending our Visas and just stay at H2O for several weeks.
The manager/owner at H2O is this amazing and friendly Aussie that helped us out with anything we needed. And with him is the friendliest staff we have come across on our travels.
Rooms are really nice, comfy beds, hot water, working AC, and great size and really affordable. We stayed a family of 3 in the delux bungalow for three weeks.
Location is great for exploring the island and it's just a short walk or bikeride to the beach or into the village.
The included breakfast is a really nice start and it's easy to just settle down around the pool for the rest of the day. Fantastic atmosphere ❤️
By far one of the top places I've stayed in South East Asia. Do not miss this place if you're going to Gili Air.

This place had such a beautiful relaxed feeling about it, the Deluxe room was great and some grand breakfast choices that were included which was a bonus. I tried a yoga and meditation class and felt comfortable as there were many other beginners also. I met many guests that had been there one or two weeks and others that go there every year for their holiday. It's got it's appeal that's for sure.

the place is nice, quiet, close to everything with lot of places to have good and relaxing times! The yoga classes restarted during our stay and those one are terrific!

- male staff occupies the pool after lunch, this is not comfortable and not appropriate
- the ‘king’ mattress consist of 2 small mattresses so there is a junction in the middle, weird and you can feel it when sleep

H20 provided a great atmosphere, and it was easy to meet people with the daily yoga classes. The bungalow was a cozy design and had everything..AC, hot water and a comfortable bed. A very safe place and a quiet part of the island yet handy to everything. The Vegan Nachos was my favorite dish in the cafe and of course their awesome organic coffee. I will definitely be back!
