About this condo rental
Located in Saint Augustine Beach, this lovely condo for $245 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. STEPS FROM OCEAN, INTERNET, UPGRADES, PRIVATE Our direct oceanfront, ground-floor condo (#3126) is a sweet, clean and comfortable unit located only steps from the ocean at St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort. This condo is filled with thoughtful, artistic touches in a tropical theme throughout -- including original artwork by notable North Florida artists -- and pride of ownership is apparent in every room. New custom sofa sleeper & two new cushioned swivel rocking chairs added in February 2024! Still getting new pictures, so bear with us. The solid, well-built resort as a whole offers many amenities, including free activities through partnerships with local businesses. Stay caught up with the news and your social media updates with in-condo WiFi, and relax in our living room looking out on a common grassy area with the dunes beyond. Only steps from the ocean walkway! Bathrooms include a glassed-in shower in the master bath and a deep-soaking tub in the guest bath. Unlike the non-oceanfront ground-floor units in the resort, our condo doesn't look out on a parking lot! It's private, with very little foot traffic in front of the back patio, which looks out on a common grassy area with the dunes and ocean directly beyond. Your view is of marsh and dunes. We love the wildlife we are close to! Our dunes offer both a protective buffer and a peaceful view, with tortoises & rabbits and curious herons seen frequently in the brush and hawks, ospreys and pods of pelicans flying overhead. The common area between our patio and the dunes is carefully maintained by the resort. From our patio, you'll only walk a few steps to the boardwalk, which offers a nice sitting area of benches for sipping your favorite beverage and looking out on the ocean. Just beyond, you'll encounter the sand and beautiful sea of St. Augustine Beach, a gem on Florida's Atlantic Coast. Our resort is gated, family-oriented and secure, with a caring on-site management staff to answer questions or provide additional advice on local attractions. The ground-floor location of our condo affords easy access to the beach, and makes loading and unloading supplies & groceries a breeze -- no steps or elevators to worry about. We're approximately 1/2 mile to Publix plaza (supermarket, salons, restaurants, etc.) and an easy drive to all beach restaurants. We're also only about 15 minutes to the historic sites, restaurants and activities you'll find in the famous Old City of St. Augustine. The resort has two pools, one heated year-round, and Jacuzzis in several buildings. All of these amenities, along with tennis courts and a shuffleboard court, are easily walkable from our unit and available for everyone's enjoyment. Our unit features 16 x 16 tiled floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, stylish and comfortable furniture, updated vanities in bathrooms with solid-surface countertops and tumbled marble countertops in kitchen. Sleeps six total, with plush queen bed in master, Sealy plush twin beds in guest bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. St. Augustine Beach is maintained by the city and always pristine, unlike some other areas nearby. We have owned and dearly loved our condo for 19 years (in 2023) -- and ask only that guests treat our unit as they would their own property, gently and with care, as we have. We'd love to have you as our guests! We're Sarah and Chad of Gainesville, Florida. Living just two hours away, we get over a lot to check on things and make sure all is well and everything is spotless and in good repair. Our vacation started out very rocky, back in January we had booked a condo to stay at (not this one) and we thought everything was great! Saturday night er arrived in St. Augustine around 9:30PM only to find out that our week long rental had been cancelled! They literally called my at 9:00PM to let me know! We had driven 14 hours with 2 small children and were completely devastated! I quickly got on VRBO and found this little gem! Sarah was amazing to work with, she even got us an earlier check in time! She checked in with us along the week and made sure everything was much better! The condo is super cute and very clean, the property is also very clean! My kids loved the pool and the fact that we were right on the beach! I would recommend this place 100%! Thank you so much making our vacation turn into such an amazing experience ♥️

Very Relaxing Stay
The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The location is great as you are right next to the path to the beach. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the shower was especially nice - great water pressure. Communication with the owner was great and the check in process was easy. We arrived close to midnight and were able to pick up everything at the security gate.

Wonderful Time at Great Location
Thanks to Sarah for being so helpful! The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and cups. The beds were comfy. Would have preferred a king bed in the master but it was still comfortable.
The location, on the ground floor and ocean front is amazing! You can not see the ocean from the porch but it beats going up stairs or elevator. It is a short walk up the wooden deck to a spot to sit and watch the sunrise or just the ocean. It is a good walk to the water but the deck is in great condition and there is a shower and feet wash at the end.
Overall a wonderful time!!
Would have been a four and 1/2 star if it had a king bed. Only reason not a 5 is that there is always room for small improvement.

Beautiful clean unit. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on outside of my home.
The property is as nice as pictures depict. The grounds are well maintained and very secure. If I had to say anything not positive was that there is no ocean view on ground floor even though you are ocean front. We normally stay down at Crescent Beach on ground floor and do have ocean view. But that is nature and not the fault of anyone. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed the weekend with my husband, sister, and niece. We had a great time at the beach. There were a lot of good restaurants nearby. Condo was well kept. Would definitely come again!!

Clean cute and close to the beach!
This unit has been nicely renovated and has tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals so it was nice to be able to cook and eat in. Centrallly located to several attractions and less than a mile to Publix. I would recommend this condo and will stay there again.

Such a relaxing place
This was my family's first vacation to St Augustine. We stayed at Sarah's condo #3126 and enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and very well stocked. It was close to the ocean and we didn't have to use an elevator at all! We loved the fact that is is on the ground floor which made it easier to go to beach or run to the car. Check in process went smooth and staff emailed me back with any questions I had for them. I would highly recommend staying at this condo again. I am hoping to rebook soon!

Great spot for a beach vacation.
My husband & I along with another couple spent 4 days at this condo. We found it very comfortable for the 4 of us. Everything you need was there. We also loved how close it was to the beach. We are all stand-up paddlers and 3 of us paddle surf. We loved that the 3 of us could just grab our boards from our van in the morning and catch a session without disrupting our other friends' morning. The pool and tennis courts looked nice too. Although we didn't get a chance to use them because there is so much to do in St. Augustine.

Wonderful spot!
My family and I spent a week in the condo and had an amazing time. Perfect location with beach access and close to everything! Condo was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Sarah was very responsive to all of our requests.

Fantastic even during a hurricane
My husband and I came here for our fall honeymoon. We came down 3 days after hurricane Matthew expecting the worse, and we were so wrong! Everything was perfect. The office people and security were so nice and helpful, and Sarah and Chad kept us updated about the weather and everything the entire time. The entire property was so clean and upkept you would not have thought a hurricane had just hit. We definitely intend to return!

Wonderful Place to Recharge!
My daughter and I were looking for a place to recharge our batteries before the school year begins and this was the PERFECT location! Sarah and Chad were the most wonderful hosts. Always available and easy to communicate with. The location of the condo is amazing! Just a short walk to the beach. Very secure with guards on the entrance and codes on the gates to get to and from the beach. We exercised each morning and spent a few hours on the beach and then finished the day with some shopping or dinner at local restaurants. We LOVED: The Blue Hen and the Taco Shop in Old City, Casa Maria by the Publix in St. Augustine Beach (Mexican), and Cap's by the Water. We visited Salt Life and Sunset Grille which were good but much more touristee. OK food but better experience. We loved the Outlet stores and the shopping in Old City (to the right of the main square) . Our phone carrier is Verizon Wireless and the connection wasn't always strong in the condo but the wireless system was a big help in staying in communication with our family. I would highly recommend this home!

We had a wonderful time in St Augustine. The condo was perfect!!!! Very clean and convenient. Loved the ground level with the outside patio, especially for my 2 year old daughter. Beautiful and Relaxing Condo!
We were able to stay for 1 week at this beautiful condo. It was in a great location, very close to many restaurants, and a grocery store within a few miles. The condo was very clean upon arrival, spacious, and was well equipped. The bed was very nice and comfy, better than ours at home which made vacationing even better! We loved having the private beach just a few steps away in the back yard, made it easy to go back and forth when needed. The owners Chad and Sarah were extremely helpful about any questions we had, and responded to us quickly. We also enjoyed having a notebook that had previous renters recommendations of dining and sightseeing while staying in St. Augustine. The atmosphere at this condo was so incredible, and gave us the exact vacation that we were looking for! We were incredibly happy with our stay!!! We can't wait to come back!

Moldy, dirty, and awful but close to beach
The proximity to the beach and amenities are indeed selling points for this condo, but that’s the end of its positive features. We wouldn’t stay back here if we were paid to.
Upon entry, the whole condo smelt of mold and dust. Floors under beds and in corners, sofas, and surfaces (like on top of the television) hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like months. My daughter dropped a toy of hers back there and I seriously considered just leaving it rather than disinfecting and having to reach under to get it. It was absolutely disgusting.
The most troubling aspect of the condo was the mold situation. My husband, toddler and I stayed in the back bedroom. The window in the room is an escape window and would open to the ground level breezeway if it opened and if we didn’t mind people constantly walking past our window making noise. The air quality in the back room was so poor that my daughter would wake herself up mid-evening with coughing fits and my husband and I had coughing, sneezing, and watery eyes. By the third night of this, we moved my daughter to the front room and decided to check out early to move somewhere our lungs would be better off.
Yes, this condo is about 20 feet from the beach, but unless you want to sleep outside, find a different location. Wi-Fi and cell phone service don’t work inside the apartment and since dishwasher detergent isn’t provided, dishes are dirty and in poor condition.

Delightful Vacationing!
We had a wonderful, winter vacation at the St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort and once again chose this lovely furnished and fully equipped condo! Watching the morning sunrise from our patio, walking on the beautiful beach, relaxing by the pool, hopping on the Trolley for a day in Historical St. Augustine or partaking in resort activities, our options each day were endless. The condo owners, Chad and Sarah, have a marvelous notebook on the coffee table filled with sightseeing and restaurant recommendations - we experienced quite a few and gave them a 👍!!

So whether you've come to St. Augustine for historical sightseeing, relaxing on the beach, or a touch of both, this is the perfect condo for your vacation! The newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms in this tastefully decorated condo are outstanding. The owners have left a notebook, prominently placed on the coffee table, with the names and locations of recommended restaurants and shopping venues in both the beach and historical areas. Chad and Sarah respond quickly to any questions or needs you might have before, during, or after your visit...they are very responsible owners. Perfect Weekend Getaway
What a nice vacation condo home nestled away by the dunes of our favorite beach, St. Augustine. This little gem has all the beautiful upgrades of a fine beach home. The kids enjoyed being 2 minutes away from the sand. We had an amazing weekend in this very functional and awesome condo. The weekend was a perfect birthday celebration.
