About this house rental
Nestled in Napa Valley, this attractive house for $1,457 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This spacious Sonoma home is situated in prestigious Sobre Vista estates on 5+ acres with a gated driveway, solar heated pool and in-ground spa. We have added a newly constructed championship tennis court that also is surfaced for two pickleball courts and a professional basketball backboard and hoop. The main house has a recently renovated large kitchen with granite counters with an airy eat in table for the entire family/group to have breakfast while looking out on the garden and lawn. The adjacent dining room seats 16 with plenty of room surrounding for everyone to join in on elegant family meal while the living rooms offers expansive windows, a wood-burning fireplace, and a great place for relaxing. We have recently renovated the home with an updated kitchen and new flooring throughout the main house and guest house. In the main house, kids will enjoy their room (a twin over double bunk-bed plus a daybed with trundle) as well as the toys, games, bikes, and basketball hoop with plenty of space indoors to find a nook to play in. (We have 3 kids, so we get it!). The master bedroom is huge with a king size bed and an adjacent nook for additional sleepers, complete with its own jacuzzi bathtub and double headed shower. Two additional bedrooms look out onto the garden each with a queen size bed. The fully enclosed pool room functions as a 6th bedroom with two twin day beds and has its own attached bathroom. The The guest house is just steps from the house and has a king size bed with a separate living room, its own kitchen and bathroom with a walk in shower. (extra sleeping mats in the closet) In addition, separate from the house and away from the noise of the pool is a private office complete with a desk, wifi, printer/scanner and plenty of shade, for those of you who just can’t seem to get away completely. Our charming stables give it that unique Sonoma flair to make sure that you know you are not in the city, but alas the property does not come fully equipped with horses. We’ve worked hard to make this house both beautiful and comfortable and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The large gathering spaces and the flexible sleeping arrangements, make it perfect for couples vacations, girls’ getaways, family gatherings, holidays, or to allow everyone to stay and gather for nearby winery weddings. We’re surrounded by wineries for those wanting to go tasting or just step out the door and go on a short hike to the Sobre Vista lake with vistas over the valley and a plenty of ducks to make it worth your while. Borrow our bikes for a short ride into Glen Ellen (1 mile away) or to Sonoma Plaza (4 miles away) or to the Sonoma Country Club golf course (1 mile away) or drive over to Infineon Raceway (12 miles) if you are so inclined. Wonderful home with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time together as a family. We enjoyed the hot tub, pickleball, bocce ball, and pool tables. Great location - not far from Sonoma plaza, wineries, Sonoma market, and an easy drive to Napa. Great kitchen for preparing meals for a crowd! And a great supply of dishes, serving dishes, spices, etc. recommend walking thru the place with the caretaker when you arrive to learn how everything works! (He was very helpful).

We had a great time staying in this wonderful property. So much to do, we spent lots of time on the pickleball court and hanging out in the lovely living room.

We are a group of college friends who take an annual trop to somewhere wonderful and this was no exception. The home was well equipped, especially the kitchen which had EVERYTHING. We did a lot of cooking. The weather was unseasonably warm but we enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as all the games and property. This place would be great for a large family gathering.

A wonderfully designed and curated property with something for everyone! This was a great location for a multi-generational family gathering with plenty of spaces to congregate and get away. Being in the middle of wine country was definitely a bonus. The owner was very responsive and sensitive to the needs of our group. Highly recommend!

The property is private, woodsy, and has very enjoyable outside sitting areas, including a fire pit which we enjoyed every evening. The kitchen is very well stocked, better than any VRBO we've ever visited. For a large house, the AC works very well.
The living quarters certainly need some repairs and improvements, e.g., an inoperative microwave, a mattress replacement, a screen door off its tracks, etc.

Fantastic property! Beautifully maintained grounds, wonderful pool & hot tub. So much to keep kids and adults entertained both indoors and outdoors. Great kitchen and dining room to accommodate large groups. All bedrooms and bathrooms are top notch. Would definitely rent again.

We returned to Paul's fabulous, spacious home after two years where we enjoyed the additional amenities. Both kids and adults spent hours in the heated pool and played basketball, tennis, and pickle ball. The well-supplied and expansive kitchen delighted our resident and outside chefs. The bedroom and bathroom layout perfectly met the needs of 12 people.

This is without a doubt a delightful property - there are many options for fun with sports and hobbies. The home was well designed and furnished in the past. The maintenance man is a good person. What is required is time between rentals for maintenance and tidying to occur. The first night and day that we were there, the home and guest house were not heated (in the 50s) on a 30something degree night, there was an odor that permeated the entire house that originated in a bathroom shower. We reached out to all, and succeeded at contacting the kind handyman by the next evening. He made improvements. Perhaps a credit for the day should be considered.

Europe and this house was just great! Lots of space for everyone, well equipped kitchen, and lots of activities for everyone! Great communication with both Paul and Jason with any issues that came up. We look forward to coming back in the summer hopefully! :)

We had a wonderful stay in anticipation of celebrating my niece’s wedding. The house was a blissful retreat full of amenities. Great pool, bocce ball court, tennis court - even a batting cage. Incredible kitchen perfect for a family gathering. We loved every minute.

The reason for the 4 star was the cleaner was still cleaning when we got there, then the guy started mowing the lawn around the pool when we were about to hop in, and we did not know the property manager would be around working on the property. Jason and the cleaning team were just finishing up so we were afforded a detailed tour of the property to include instructions and tips for everything the house had to offer. The beds were comfortable, the space ample, amenities abounded, with lots of options for our group of 8 ladies to gather comfortably together OR if desiring a break or some down time solo. The house is situated close to plenty of stuff to do locally, though not far at all from Napa (about a 30-40 minute drive), and surrounded by lots of land, feeling secluded and private when at home relaxing. Lots of laughs were had around the kitchen table while we caught up with one another and played games. Then around the MASSIVE dining table when we hired a private chef to come prepare and serve us "dinner in" one night. Worth mentioning that he and his team were more than pleased with the kitchen and grill! There were a couple very small needs during our stay that were expressed by call to Jason, and he answered and assisted immediately. My only real complaints are that we could not stay longer and it was too cold to fully enjoy the outdoor areas...which were exceptional! We tried out the hot tub but it never got to a comfortable temp, likely because it was in the 20's and 30's most nights of our stay! Fortunately we did not need it for our group but the office/workout/daybed house key would not work and we could see from the windows it would not have been suitable to sleep in anyway as it had not been cleaned. I feel strongly had this been brought up to the property manager it would have been addressed but again, wasn't necessary for our group. I would stay here again, most definitely!!!

All 6 adults and 4 children each had a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to share. The open design of the living room, kitchen area and dining nook offered a continuous connection amongst us, so the children were always within sight. The play structure and expansive grounds kept the kids moving. The spa heated up quickly and was a happy place for adults on cold November evenings. There was ample parking for 3 large vehicles. Grandparents had their own quieter space in the guest house that was separated a few feet away from the main house. Most importantly the host was very responsive, quick to answer questions and respond.

The furnishings and design of the home and guest house are nicely done. Everything was also very clean. Amazing kitchen and the dining room was fabulous, able to seat 15 people!

We weren't able to take advantage of the fire pit, batting cages, etc. The inside of the house boasts open rooms with plenty of seating so that we were able to socialize inside and watch the rain fall.

Our first trip since Covid and we were really looking forward to spending time with our whole family. This home was the perfect place to gather. It accommodated us all so comfortably with plenty of space to be together and spaces to slip off and be alone.
The communication from the owner was prompt and thorough and being a first time user of VRBO that was very comforting. I would recommend this house over and over again.
