Walk 500 yds, strap on your skis & make tracks on Bridges before you even reach chair 15. Three fireplaces to keep you cozy and relaxed. Each bedroom has its own private in-suite bathroom. Beautiful office with a view of the hills to start your day. Amazing views through floor to ceiling windows. A soothing hot tub with a great view awaits after a long day of skiing or hiking. There are massive views from the Whites to the Sherwins to Mammoth Crest, which change by the hour as clouds stream past. You will not find this combination of breathtaking views and ski access anywhere on Mammoth mountain--this is a truly unique location! Some sites have recognized our home as a 'Customer Favorite' We have all the amenities that are needed to be at home from high speed wifi to all-clad pots and pans. Bita's property is absolutely stunning. You can see mountain views in each room. And every consideration was made to ensure our stay was enjoyable. It was very easy to check in, the beds were all very comfortable, and the location can't be beat -- you can walk a few steps to the Bridges run and ski in / out. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a very clean & comfortable stay with the best amenities. Thanks for having us!

This is such a beautiful home with all the amenities! Beautiful views, very clean and organized, top of the line technology and interiors making for easy use and access, perfect location for our family, very close to everything we needed to get to, including food, great and clear communication with owner so there was no questioning and overall a great place to stay!

This was my fourth time staying at Bita's and so it really feels like home now. The location couldn't be better and communicating with Bita is so easy and wonderful! The house is absolutely stunning and the best place to watch the snow fall over the valley! We will definitely be back again and again!

We just got back from Mammoth. This house is really nice, well appointed, roomy and the view are amazing! It snowed so hard one day that driving was next to impossible. No problem - just walk 50 yards to the slopes! The owner was also very responsive to communications and easy to work with.

Mammoth property on the mountain
I have not found a better property in Mammoth that has Ski In Ski out - through March. Beyond then, that side of the mountain starts to shut down due to the sun exposure.
But what you always have is a wonderful property up on the mountain, and it is very well kept and appointed. Bita the owner was always available to us and lovely to deal with.
There we four adults and one 16 year old and everyone absolutely loved this property.
We will definitely be back!

Favorite house in Mammoth
My family loves this house. It is immaculately clean, well equipped and has spectacular views from every window. We also love that you can ski right on to the slopes. Can’t wait to come back!

Top vacation home of my life!
This home was gorgeous, cozy, large and suited all our needs for our ski vacation. The view from the living room balcony was stunning. All time favorite rental
We have been renting Bita’s beautiful house a couple times a year for at least 5 years now. We have come all different times of year usually in the summer or winter. It is perfect in summer for hiking, biking and fishing. And the winter is ideal for skiing. You can ski right to the slopes. This year we came in October which was also a great trip. The weather was beautiful and the town was quiet and very relaxing ! We went hiking and visited the the ghost town in Bodie. My kids also enjoyed the natural hot springs. Bitas house is always immaculate, and very well

Beautiful and comfortable townhouse with great view
We spent five nights in October at Altis and loved it. The views are awesome, the design and decor are attractive, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. I have never had a rental with a more responsive owner/manager; Bita responded to messages within minutes, and sometimes within seconds. When there was an issue with the jacuzzi, it got resolved quickly. This rental is an excellent choice in Mammoth Lakes.

Host was very accommodating and communicative. We had all of the trip details well ahead of time. Rules and policies were spelled out clearly. This house has the best view. A very nice escape for a family that doesn't want to stay in the village but very close proximity to the village. We stayed during MTB season and we rode to the village gondola lift each morning and the trail system took us back to the house. Never needed a car! 3 full bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everyone had a very comfortable private space after a long day of mountain biking...and the outdoor private jacuzzi was a big hit. This is the ONLY place my family and friends will stay in Mammoth. Epic time that will not be forgotten!
**The house does not have air condition but we found leaving the doors open cooled the house down perfectly for the night. We never felt uncomfortable from the heat.

Best location, Best host!
This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first. It is extremely clean and its proximity to the mountain and town is unbeatable! We absolutely love coming here and it is so comfortable for a family, we will definitely be back as soon as possible! Bita is also the most lovely host and extremely accommodating!

Amazing location and spectacular views
We enjoyed an amazing week in Mammoth....and this house gives you the BEST location to have on this mountain. Spectacular views and the easiest access to the slopes. The hot tub was a must apres ski! Any questions we had, we received immediate answers. Would definitely come back to Mammoth and ONLY stay at this spectacular home. Thank you again!

great location, amazing view, could use better amenities
we've been waiting for our kids to be good enough on skis to stay in this new development and we finally had our chance! the view is to die for, the owner was very helpful and accommodating, the location great, BUT, compared to other places we've stayed, a little under-stocked. kitchen had salt and pepper and that's about it. cheap, half-used bottles of shampoo in the showers (no soap), no extra towels for jacuzzi (missed the part about 'bring your own'). guess we've been spoiled by charcuterie plates at check-in, fully stocked kitchens, and extra toothbrushes when we've forgotten ours. also, lots of pictures of the owners and their children and dogs, and lots of little exhortations about how to treat the wood counters and the appliances, so you very much feel like you are borrowing someone's house. BUT THAT VIEW...

Altis lived up to our expectations! The home has a fantastic location right off of Bridges/Eagle Lodge for an easy ski-in/ski-out experience. The views from the property are stunning. We had an amazing time with our family!

Family Mammoth mountain trip
This property was perfect for our family of 7. The location was great, with a short walk to the Bridges run to Eagle lift. The view was breathtaking! We would highly recommend the Altis property!

Truly fantastic home on the mountain!
We visit Mammoth every year and Altis was possibly the very best place we've ever stayed. First, it is as advertised; however it's impossible for photos to truly capture the stunning views - they are simply incredible! We had four adults and three children (teens and one tween) with more than enough room for all. Everything from towels to cooking utensils to instructions for the jacuzzi (which was awesome!) were fully accounted for, you can tell this is not only a rental but also someone's home-away-from-home. Getting onto the slopes was a short walk away, and while there is construction (a new home) next to the path, getting on and off was easy for all. We had one minor issue when we arrived (wifi router needed to be reset) and Bita was extremely responsive and the issue was resolved within minutes! We highly recommend Altis to families visiting the mountain, and look forward to returning!

Covid Safe Get Away
Perfect vacation spot for our family to be together safely during this strange pandemic. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed, including the space to keep us feeling comfortable. Bita was wonderful and answered all my questions immediately. Sadly, the air was so smoky we could not do all the hiking we would have liked to. And it wasn’t until the day we left that we actually saw the beautiful mountain views from the house. Will definitely return again.

This was one of the best equipped and high end properties we've stayed at in Mammoth. Very comfortable and convenient for ski in/out. Really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely come back. Large SUV definitely will not fit in the garage (we have a Navigator) so plan accordingly but we did not find it to be an issue with parking in the driveway. Bita was a great host.
