It is a few steps from the subway

The proximity to a subway stop.
The breakfast wasn't attractive. I expected more from the price. The staff at the front could be more friendly.

It’s very quiet and close a few convenience stores. It has all the stuff you need (toothbrushes, toothpaste, face wash etc.). The room is quite spacious and bed is comfy. I like the bathroom too, it’s spacious and clean. I stayed during Sakura season so the price is very expansive, but if coming on non-peak seasons the price should be very good for its value. I like how it’s a bit further away from the tourist centre Shijo but not too far away. You get to see and walk and feel the little streets of Kyoto. It’s close to subway station and bus stations too. It’s very close to 新风馆 a shopping centre that’s quite nice. The breakfast is super good and a different variety, I didn’t get bored of it for 4 days straight. I would definitely come back here!
Not really much to say, except for the Sakura season price TT but again, not the hotel’s fault.

The front desk concierge was outstanding, incredibly friendly, pleasant, and helpful.
The room was clean, breakfast was very nice, and staff were all polite and friendly too.
The tea provided was very nice, I wish I had purchased some from the front desk to take home.
Location is very close to the entrance to train station, very convenient.
