Nestled in Siesta Key, this lovely condo for $143 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Time for a vacation!? Step into the condo and immediately notice the warm, open feel, beautifully tiled floors and the sweeping views of an inlet off of the intracoastal waterway. There is no other condo blocking your view or intruding in your privacy. Step out onto the balcony and indulge in a refreshing drink as you listen to the birds welcome you to paradise and the palm trees swaying in the gentle breezes. When you're ready for the beach, cross the street to access the coded private gate. The public beach is nearby! Enter using the simple, keyless entry pad. Everything is clean and well maintained. Careful thought has been put into what each guest might need... from an iron and ironing board, to board games, to private beach chairs and umbrella to use during your stay. *Please note that the unit is on the 3rd floor, no elevators in the building so the unit is accessible only by stairs. No motorized carts or Scooters allowed* Master: King Bed w/TV Guest: 2 Twin Beds w/TV Living room: Pull-Out Queen Sofa, New Smart TV The kitchen is beautifully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Run the dishwasher and go out for the evening. If you don't feel like eating in, there are plenty of options. Don't feel like driving anywhere? No problem. You can walk to a myriad of places from here including the Crescent Market, Captain Curt's for famous clam chowder, Orange Octopus for their delicious homemade ice cream or freshly brewed cappuccino or drop into the Tiki Bar for a tropical drink as you listen to the nightly live music. Feel like going into town? Call the free ride guy and you are right on the main street (Midnight Pass) to take you to Siesta Village where you can visit a host of restaurants, bars and shops without needing to pull your car out of the complex. The master has a brand new comfy king bed, a Smart TV with cable, natural light and closet space. The room is cheerful, clean and inviting. The guest bedroom has two twin beds with new mattresses too. The twin beds can be converted to a king for a fee of $50 to cover the put together and pull down. Just give us a few days heads up. The private, gated beach access is a major bonus. A beach shower when you come off of the beach adds to the convenience of this complex. The beach chairs on the beach are not for MCII guests but there are beach chairs in the unit you can bring to the beach. Boat docks available for rent. The complex also boasts two tennis courts where you can enjoy tennis/pickleball and join other guests in the months of Feb, March & April using a signup sheet. Just bring your gear and signup! There are boat docks, a large heated swimming pool and plenty of lounge chair seating around the pool which also overlooks the intracoastal waterway on the bayside. There is a small fitness room in the complex, gas grills for your use near the tennis courts and a basketball hoop as well. Wash your dirty vehicle if you want. A complete resort vacation is right here. Private stackable washer and dryer available for your use so no need to use the communal laundry facilities. Many complexes do not allow motorcycles, trailers, jet skis, kayaks, or scooters or golf carts. Some do not allow monster trucks. Ask prior to booking to confirm if your special vehicle will be allowed including commercial vehicles, over-sized vehicles, or vehicles with signage. We help make the most of your vacation by providing Xplorie's Free Admission to some of the area’s top attractions each and every day including a choice of a free bike rental, kayak rental, a dolphin cruise tour, or admission to the Ringling Museum ! Round-trip airport transportation provided for up to 3 passengers from SRQ or TPA with advance reservation. The fare is free but please tip the driver. The condo was very nice however there were a few things that weren't working. The dishwasher and the master bedroom tv didn't work. The iron had something on it that left black marks. I called and they delivered a new iron. The beach chairs were terrible so we had to go buy new ones for ourselves. If those things were fixed we would consider renting again. We would like to know the cost for renting for 4 weeks

This property was perfect. Exactly as the pictures showed. Very clean, quite, beautiful view of the lagoon where the boats are docked. Good size pool with plenty of chairs. Beach was just across the street. A few bars and restaurants within walking distance. Had a great time. No issues at all. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately the day we arrived I realized I was battling illness and ended up in the hospital for most of the stay. The home was clean and the property management people were very accommodating. My only negative during my short stay is the blankets were about the poorest quality one could have and there were not enough towels. My husband said the made to look retro appliances were awful especially the coffee maker. The patio furniture was tired and there was no umbrella so almost impossible to sit out there in the mid day sun. I cannot comment on the pool because we never went. A few inexpensive upgrades would make this property a nicer stay.

The property was very clean and freshly painted. We did not notice a single mark on the walls! Furniture was clean but a bit tired. I would suggest when replacing to put an ottoman in the room for more comfort.

We met family at the Cove II to celebrate a special birthday! Very enjoyable stay…using ITrip, ALD limousine service, Alexa to answer questions made it very easy for us to relax. Easy access to the pool, pickle ball courts, the trolley, and restaurants! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time and the condo and complex are beautiful. There were a few minor issues.
1. The shower door needs attention and the shower drains slowly.
2. It should be noted that the condo is in the 3rd floor with no elevator. My husband has extreme difficulty with stairs.
3. The beach attendants of Midnight Cove I were very rude. We realize they are unaffiliated with MCII but although there was plenty of space and chairs available on the beach, they policed and ran off anyone that wasn't staying at MCI. It wasn't just us of course, there were many people upset because there wasn't a designated beach area for MCII guests.
Otherwise, we were very pleased with the complex and the condo.

There is a washer/dryer next to the unit and the kitchen has a Keurig, microwave, etc. Internet connection was fine, TV has an array of cable stations. Midnight Cove II is a great venue, the grounds are nice, the pool is very good, and there is private access to the beach across the street. Office staff are friendly and helpful if you have questions. My son and I fished in the canal off the intercoastal waterway. Plenty of good restaurants on Siesta Key and an array of interesting things to do in the Sarasota area.
There were a few things that could be improved. Would have preferred a king bed in the master, but that was disclosed on VRBO, so it was our decision. There were slats missing in the vertical blinds in the second bedroom. There was an ironing board that could not be closed and took up space. The management company brought a new one but did not remove the defective one. The patio is nice, but the patio furniture was rusted a bit. Had to get batteries for the TV remote.

The location is just a short walk (probably 500 steps) to the beach, but very quiet and secluded in a well maintained community. The hosts were in constant communication in case we had any issues arise, which we didn’t but it was still nice to know they were available. The best part of the location for us was that it is convenient to the shopping and dining of Siesta Key Village as well as being very easy to get back across the bridge to the nearest Publix, Walgreens, Target and etc. All in all, this was a great spot for a week at the beach.

The best part of the location for us was that it is convenient to the shopping and dining of Siesta Key Village as well as being very easy to get back across the bridge to the nearest Publix, Walgreens, Target and etc. All in all, this was a great spot for a week at the beach.

Midnight Cove II was a nice complex and our condo was in a great location by the pool and close walk to the beach. We had a couple issues when we got into the condo like not enough beach chairs, slow draining shower and a few other things. Once we notified the rental agency they fixed them pretty quickly so I really couldn’t complain. We had a few other families with us in the complex and some had nicer units and some had not as nice which is why I am giving the unit 3 stars. Nice place and would rent again but also nothing extraordinary.
