Disappointing

The location was quite good, near the sea.

When we entered the apartment, there was a strong bad smell od the mildew everywhere. This stink remained in the bedroom for our whole stay even though we ventilate all day long. We found there a few dead and life cockroaches too. The patio was probably in the middle of reconstruction, looked totally different than on the photos, undone and quite dirty.

Spacious, clean and ideal location for the beach

Really spacious and clean apartment. Very well located for the beach as well as a tram stop at the end of the street, to get into the city. There’s also an excellent bike hire shop nearby with great suggested routes for exploring Valencia. Would absolutely recommend staying here again.

Having to collect the apartment keys from a different location in Valencia wasn’t ideal, but not a big problem. Instructions were clear and easy to find.

nice modern apartment but not sure I would return

it was modern with plenty of space

there was quite a bad smell coming from the pipes and the bathrooms were not particularly clean. it is not in a great neighbourhood, I did not feel safe but nothing bad happened. the staff responsible for checking in are very unhelpful. I arrived at the destination at the check in time stated to be told I had to travel to another part of town to pick up the keys, very annoying after a long journey. they could have communicated this much better.

Disaster accessing apartment. Taxi from airport cost 60 Euro due to misinformation about keys !!

The apartment itself was modern and well equipped although there were a few problems. Excellent tram & train services to the city centre Beach is only a 5 to 10 minute walk

The SingularStays Marina apartment is not near the Marina. The small bedroom door could not be closed nor could the door to the ensuite bathroom in the large bedroom. The window in the small bedroom could not be locked as the locking mechanisms were out of alignment. In the main bathroom shower there was no shelf to hold toiletries etc. One of the high stools at the breakfast bar was very wobbly. It is normal to find an "introduction file" in hotels/apartments to help guests settle in. These files are invaluable in providing information about the area, wi-fi passwords, how to use the air-conditioning units, ceiling fans etc. There was no such file in the apartment. Everything was trial and error. We never found a wi-fi account / password. No fan remote control in small bedroom. Very steep stairs to the apartment There were no nice restaurants or bars in the area. We found only one restaurant/bar on the local beach that was open. This could be seasonal? (About 30 minute walk away towards the Marina there were numerous delightful restaurants open). The biggest problem with the stay was gaining access to the apartment. On 4th April I was advised by Laura of SingularStays that I could collect the keys to the apartment at Palacios Rooms, Calle Daoizi Velarde 6 between 22.00 and 23.00 hours upon my arrival on 20th April. I got a taxi from the airport to the Palacios Rooms, arriving at 22.15, to find the building locked up and no one there to give me the keys. I called your telephone number and was put on hold then the call cut off. At this stage I was beginning to panic being in a strange city on my own and nowhere to stay! I called back and a gentleman advised me to continue to the apartment and he would have someone meet me there with the key. Had just arrived at Carrer del Pare Anton Martin when I received a message as to how to gain access to the Palacios Rooms. Collected key and gained access at 23.45 and taxi bill of 60 Euro.

Easy access to city via tram/cycling. Very close to the beach for a walk

good price, location and comfortable apartment

The apartment is super nice, comfortable, clean and with a large patio at the back equipped with tables and chairs. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The location is a few mins from the beach and very close to grocery stores and places to get coffee. The whatsapp service is super responsive and helped us understand how to get out keys and were available 24/7 for questions. Tram stop is literally a minute walk away! great price for a group and overall very comfortable

we had to go very far away to get our keys, which was inconvenient for a family with a baby. it would be nice if they could store the keys closer to the actual apartment. this was definitely a downside for us. The washing machine has some issues with the on/off system. we weren’t sure if it was us or the plug not working well, but it was a struggle to turn on. Beware that there’s a sofa bed in the living room for the extra 2 people. Bathrooms are quite humid and ventilation not ideal. master bathroom had a bad smell but we figured it was from the pipes in the neighborhood. The patio was not cleaned before our arrival and the chairs and tables were filthy. it would have been nice to find them clean.

Close proximity to beach, grocery, small cafes.

Terrible sewage smell in both bathrooms. No wifi. Never connected once the whole time we were there. Extremely difficult key retrieval. A lock box on the property or a property manager at the property makes sense. Driving 3 kilometres away in a taxi paying a fee for the taxi makes no sense.

Wouldn't book again

- Location - close to the beach. - Apartment looked nice. - Early check-in.

Stayed there because it was close to the beach. - The streets are messy in that area (e.g. when we arrived the smell was awful in front of the building - someone took a poop at the corner of the building). - Getting the keys was not very easy, it seemed like a treasure hunt, in another part of the city. It wasn't fun because we had to do this with two babies (two strollers, and a lot of luggage) - In one of the bedrooms, there were two single beds which were put together. However, the beds were slipping one from another during the night, they weren't tied up, so it was a bit uncomfortable. - There wasn't any coffee machine in the apartment (there was only a kettle for coffee). - The owners responded quickly on whatsapp before getting there, but when I contacted them in order to help us regarding the ANTS in the livingroom/kitchen they didn't answered, so I suppose it wasn't a surprise for them. - Before getting there, we had to pay a deposit of 200 EUR which should get back in maximum 72h. However, we haven't received the deposit back only after I contacted on whatsapp, after one week.

frequently ran off electricity. you cannot use heater with electric kettle at the same time. I didn't feel safe to transfer 200 euro as deposit request. anyway deposit was returned.

Pleasant

The apartments were lovely and looked as they did in the photos. They were located just 400m from the beach.

Unfortunately communication with the hosts was terrible. We had issues with access to the apartments, issues with getting confirmation of a request for a late checkout. I would not stay here again just based on the communication problems.

Do not go here in the Summer.

Basically this building has no insulation and a tin roof. When we arrived at 11pm it was 35 degrees inside. Even after leaving the air con on all night the temperature only reduced to 27degrees. In addition to the above the flat has 3 dark brown shutters that act like heating radiators, you can barely touch them during the day. Even if the air con was correctly sized and better positioned, it probably could not cope. Much of its output goes down the stairs. Staff to help were largely absent, they already know these problems.

WE PAID FOR 15 MARCH TO 31 MARCH. BUT WE ONLY STAYED ON 16TH AND 17TH MARCH. CAN GET WE REFUND?

THE CENTRAL BATHROOM SHOWER HAD A BAD SMELL. THE DRAIN WAS BACKING UP IN THE SHOWER AFTER HEAVY RAINS.

Disappointing

De appartment was big and beautiful.

The appartment was not clean when we arrived at 21 in the night. It was with the beds as the previous people left them, the towels on the floor, toilet not flushed, and the garbage in the bin, smelling like it was there for a week. We did not receive any keys. Only an app with the telephone, that was not working well. Saturday we were going back home at 5 in the morning and it was giving error for many times, the app to open the door was not working. We tried everything and we call the contact we had from this apartment. No one answered. We were considering to go to sleep to a hotel. At the end we uninstall and install it again, try 7 times and at the 7th was working. Next day we talked to him and he was saying things but not coming with a solution or keys. He just sent us a new code to open the door with the phone. I hope the owner will fix these problems for future clients.
