About this house rental
Located in West Beach, this lovely house for $718 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Our Place is a beachfront house, nestled in the dunes and sea oats in the quiet area of West Beach in Gulf Shores. Summer weeks must be Sunday to Sunday. Plus you'll have FREE Golf and Activities every day of your stay to make it even better (value of up to $700/day). **Not available for winter monthly rentals. SORRY, WE DO NOT RENT TO COLLEGE STUDENTS! Please note we are unable to rent to groups under the age of 25. Maximum of 10 adults. Hangout Festival weekend there is a $1000 refundable security deposit. Our Place is a beachfront house, nestled in the dunes and sea oats in the quiet area of West Beach in Gulf Shores. It is a wonderful place to relax, but you are just minutes from restaurants, shops and attractions. This traditional beach cottage has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a beachfront sunroom and more. A wonderful great room overlooks the Gulf with flatscreen TV and room for everyone. The updated kitchen has shaker wood cabinets and granite counter tops, along with a big breakfast bar. The living room also has a queen sleeper sofa and you'll find shelves stocked with books and games to enjoy during your stay. The beachfront sun room opens to the deck and offers a wonderful place to chat with friends or read your new favorite book. Our Place has 2 King Bedrooms, 1 Queen Bedroom, and a final bedroom with a Pair of Double Beds. Each bedroom has a Flatscreen TV. One of the kings, and the bedroom with the doubles, share a connecting bath. Both of those bedrooms have great views of Little Lagoon. The other king adjoins the bath that also opens to the hall. The porch has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. And under the house you'll find a swing in a nice shady spot, a hammock to relax in, a long picnic table with room for everyone, a grill, and on outdoor shower on your way in from the beach. If you like fishing, you can cast from the beach, walk along the beach to nearby Lagoon Pass, visit the Gulf State Park Pier or charter a boat with one of the local marinas at Zeke's, San Roc Cay or Sportsman's. For the kids you'll find a nearby waterpark, go carts, mini-golf, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo (known for our white tigers), two historic forts and more. Several local companies will deliver kayaks, paddle boards or bikes. Gulf Shores is a wonderful family-friendly town but we also have a range of grown-up activities including a number of nearby signature golf courses, great fishing year round, great spots to relax for your favorite girls weekend, and events like Shrimp Fest, the Frank Brown Songwriter's Festival, SEC Beach Fest and more. Our Place is only steps to the beach. The entire home was furnished with everything we could possibly need. Plenty of towels, bedding, blankets, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher, dish and laundry detergents; and a kitchen with a variety of cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, etc.
We enjoyed our coffee each morning while watching sunrises over the ocean and sunsets in the evening from the beach. And the best part, it's pet friendly!

"Our Place" was the perfect beach house for our much-needed family/friends vacation. We had 10 people (7 adults, 3 teens) and while the space wasn't huge, even on rainy days we had plenty of room to spread out between the 4 bdrms, living room, kitchen, & sunroom. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, dinnerware, and cooking implements. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and washcloths (although our large group needed to do several loads throughout the week so make sure youve got HE liquid laundry soap), and there were several extra blankets and pillows. Most of the furniture was comfy, the deck was great for early morning coffee and wave watching, and several memebers of the group spent lots of time on the swing and hammock under the house (great place to stay out of the sun and catch a great breeze). The trek to the beach was short and easy and, since the house is a ways from the public beach access and condos, rarely busy. Considering we visited in mid July, I was expecting huge crowds but it was actually very nice.
The one issue we had was on day 3 we found ants in the kitchen (a previous tenant had left bait in the storage closet downstairs which seems to have attracted them). The management company responded to my text in 1 minute (seriously) and the guy was there in less than 30 with ant traps and ant spray. Best management response I've ever had. We have no complaints about this house or the management company and would absolutely recommend Our Place!

This was a perfect stay for our family. The “walk” to the beach is nonexistent. Our Place is as advertised but could use some updating. We loved the lil glassed in sunroom. It was ideal for our beach watchers, not goers, ha!

This was such a great place to stay and we already rebooked to come back again! The fact that you can sit in the sunroom and see the ocean is so relaxing. What a dream. Also bonus that they have a smart tv!! We got to enjoy our favorite streaming shows while there instead of flipping through basic cable which was so nice.

The Our Place rental home was a perfect setting for our 35th anniversary. Our entire family spent time with us. The house was the perfect size, impeccably maintained, extremely clean, and very nicely furnished. Loved the kitchen and sunroom. We also loved the space under the house with the swing, a great place to get out of the sun with a nice breeze, and gave us a place to hang out the one day it rained. Also, it was 5-10 minutes from everything we wanted to do or see. We would buy it if we could!!!

The house was nice, clean, and welcoming. Location was good, beach access and privacy good. Only issue would be with Management and being able to talk with an actual person. Several text messages from them while we stayed there but nothing more. Upon trying to rebook for the next year we had an issue and wasnt able to talk to a person. Had to text several times and someone called several hours later. Honestly this was my only issue. Love the house and look forward to staying again.

This was our second time to stay at Our Place and it was even better than our previous stay due to a new range. All of the appliances are first class. The lower deck has been redone. The biggest selling point to Our Place is its location on the beach. It is a short walk to set up a tent and beach chairs. The view from the deck facing the water is great. The people at Gulf Shore Rentals have always been professional as well as personable. They seem to go the extra step to make our stay enjoyable. Looking forward to returning in 2024 as we try yo get to Gulf Shores every other year.

This is an amazing rental, located on the gulf. The first thing you will notice is how clean it is. Large living room, kitchen, bedrooms and the sunroom was our favorite. It also has 2 bathrooms, one for the master bedroom and a Jack and Jill connecting two of the bedrooms. It also provides a washer and dryer. Amazing views from your deck, look to the east for amazing sun rising and then to the west for the most beautiful sun sets you will ever see.

We came to the Gulf Shores to visit family and decided to have our own personal retreat. We chose this rental because it looks so charming online and it is oceanfront. If it’s possible, it’s even more charming in person. Every need is accounted for. All one has to do is show up and let the good times roll.
