The villa is beautiful and so are the surroundings. The pool area with the small bar is lovely with a setting of grape wines and the olive trees.
The breakfast was delicious and we sat outside in the garden.
Play boule, tennis or billiards … or just relax with some locka wine in the Mary sofas in the garden.
Staff and management feel like family and will go the extra mile to support and give assistance.

Very hospitable staff. Breakfast has quite a variety of food. Very convenient seating, even outdoors. Location can't be better if you are looking for a peaceful place but within driving distance of other crowded touristy spots. Grounds are well maintained.

Michelle was a lovely hostess and so friendly!! She made us feel at home. The villa is absolutely stunning - I’m trying to convince my fiancé to get married there. Beautiful, cozy and full of history!

Gorgeous Villa and gardens hosted by a very wonderful young couple Michael and Iga.
Lovely sunflower fields, garden, pool and tennis court.
Close drive to Lucca (recommend you get a car while in this region). Parking on site.
Room was large and palatial, included our own lounge room. Breakfasts were a nice continental spread.
Once a week they host a homemade 3 course dinner with matching wines together. It was such a lovely experience!
For those who get hot, ask for a room with aircon - ours didn’t really work but we like the heat so weren’t bothered.

My family and I enjoyed every bite at breakfast from the cereal those included vitalizing grains and seeds to the fresh cake and other items included in. Roberta was great and the hosts were amazing.
I have nothing to suggest to add more to what we already enjoyed.

The property is stunning - we had a beautiful room with 15 foot high ceiling, vineyard in front. The breakfast was a great way to start each day - everything freshly made and lots of selection all prepared by Roberta. Host Tobias booked us a seat at a local restaurant after we arrived late - very good recommendation.

Beautiful historic ambiance. Lovely staff. Absolutely amazing wine tasting with the owner (highly recommended!!). Nice breakfast and pool. Great bathroom.

It’s amazing location to travel to Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano and Florence.
Breakfast is amazing here and love outside garden and swimming pool. They have bar at swimming pool, so you could have a drink or even lunch.
If you have a room on third floor, be prepared for daily exercise ( i enjoyed it and need it after so huge breakfast)

Amazing grounds! So much freedom to enjoy the property as you please. Delicious breakfast, lovely pool and HUGE rooms. Good distance to the center of Lucca, and great restaurant recommendations. It was a dream.

Stunning villa providing ideal Tuscan experience. Property is beautiful, well preserved and maintained. Pool area and gardens just delightful. Stunning big old rooms. Ida and Tobias lovely hosts. Highly recommend doing a wine tasting while there - it was a real highlight!
Was quite hot in peak summer - had to keep bedroom.windows closed all door with fan on. Expect some of these quirks in a beautiful, old home though.

The house and the countryside around are
very beautiful.
The breakfast people are very nice and efficient.
The swimming pool is nice.
The family room for 5 is actually 2 separate rooms
with only 1 bathroom in the corridor, without any intimacy.
The rooms are dark, the door handle was broken and
we had to repair it ourselves.

Very close to Lucca, in a beautiful green environment; a great swimming pool and a nice and spacious room. There is a nice breakfast buffet. Friendly hosts with a very good recommendation for Trattoria Baffardello "Da Andrea" which we would highly recommend.
We would also recommend eating in La Buca di Sant'Antonio and Peperosa, both in Lucca. Make reservations as they can be quite busy.

Villa Buonvisi was incredible! The setting, the pool, the quality of the breakfast, everything was superb. And above all our hosts - they were so accommodating and friendly, and really made us feel like we were at someone's home. Incredibly relaxed atmosphere, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Guaranteed a good night's sleep!
The only thing I would have changed would be to have somewhere we could fill up water bottles, rather than constantly buying small plastic ones from the bar.

This is in a great location, a fantastic looking country house in spacious picturesque grounds with a tennis court, table tennis table and a pool (not really usable at this time of year). The owner and her family are lovely and very welcoming. Our room, the queen suite, was enormous with a double bed and a double pull out sofa. Breakfast was tasty with some delicious cheeses, hams and fruits, as well as some patisserie.
On our first night, the heating was not switched on centrally, and so we (2+2) were cold in our room. This and tepid water in the bath and shower, at this time of the year (late October), made for uncomfortable family bath times. No-one appeared to be available to address any queries in the evenings (such as how to turn the bedroom chandelier on - answer: there's an odd-looking remote for this). Thankfully on the second night the heating was turned on, although the bathroom water temperature did not change. We would have expected a little more by way of facilities in the room - there was no kettle etc, or a mini fridge - these things would have helped to make us more comfortable, and in this price range, we would expect as standard. Maybe a coffee machine/kettle/fridge in a communal area would solve this? There's no TV, which by itself is not so bad, but stands out when added to the lack of other room facilities.

The location is extremely charming and makes you experience the beauty of tuscany's countryside beyond expetations. The staff is increbly nice and kind and helped us in many little needs. The quality of wireless connection is above the average for not being in the cityside.
The complex has got one main villa and two separate apartments with a smaller private pool. This is not crystal clear when reserving from booking.com, although the side appartments are clean and pleasant nonetheless.

Very beautiful Tuscan landhouse. Delicious breakfast and a beautiful pool. The house itself is gigantic and beautifully restored, and so are the rooms. Very nice to sleep here. Only the bathroom is a little small.
We didn't really like the fact that it was so close to a busy road. For us the stay also lacked some lively atmosphere... And there is no restaurant. There was only one option to reach by foot, because the road is too dangerous to be walking at night.

The friendly staff (Sam and the three Gratii) grandeur, the location, the pool.
The airconditioning in room 10 makes to much noise and doesnt cool te room enough (the airco in the hall functioned way better). The pillows are hard and made of material that makes your head sweaty. At last: it should be forbidden that people claim poolbeds in the morning. Post a rule that you can keep your poolbed unoccupied for maximum half an hour or so, to go to the toilet or something).

Really loved the location - so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast is top!!! And everyone on the property was so cheerful and nice.
Not much activities and interactions - no restaurant on the property so you will have to explore and find some entertainment- but all this could be due to COVID restrictions etc.

The breakfast served at individual tables in the garden was wonderful. The food - pre-ordered the previous evening - was served by a lovely, cheerful, competent local person and each table had its own sun umbrella as shade against the early morning low sun. the view was stunning and the whole atmosphere very special.
The honesty bar in the house was a great idea. the whole house and extensive grounds were well-kept and the large pool was very clean. We had the apartment which was large and well-equipped and right beside the pool.
