Loved the location & pool. Felt secluded and tranquil whilst also being really close to the city centre
Staff were super friendly and accommodating when you could find them but bar and reception area wasn’t always manned during the day so not always possible to get served

Nice place with a nice staff . The room was big enough for thee people . There was a storm during the night and the staff has kindly put our staff back as it was early in the morning . That was very kind. Breakfast was nice
We took some spritz at the pool and the price was too expensive . That is the only bad experince we had during our stay

t’s a beautiful place, very quiet surroundings , interesting building and the staff are really wonderful and friendly
The place, garden and the pool are spotless and the breakfast is very good
WiFi is good and there is free secure parking.
There’s a small bar by the pool which also serves light meals 10-5
The pool is only open 10~7, there is no restaurant and the bar stops serving at 5, so if you want dinner, you have to go into Lucca
I would say a car is essential -it’s a 20 minute unpleasant walk along busy roads, often with no pavements, awful in the dark. I ended up paying for taxis twice a day
The station is even further, crossing main roads and railway tracks
The attic rooms are very small, dark and full of large dark furniture, no where to put anything , no drawers, no where to dry towels , tv is hopeless and the bathrooms are in need of refurbishment
You can hear every sound from next door rooms
I heard other people complaining about the room sizes
When it rains, you really can only stay in your room. No lounge or common areas
Fine for a couple of days but not for any longer
