The view of the restaurant terrace, and also the view of the room, althought a black floor platform blocked it.the swimming pool and appliances where brilliant. The girl and night boy in reception were outstanding.
The platform that blocked our balcony view of the bay or San Sebastian. The fact thar I requested a note to be written on my arrival for my partner surprise who has been having a very serious tough time in his life and it was his first time over in the city that hosted me for 5 years during my university studies. Euskalduna naiz eta ez zitzaidan ondo iruditu mezua ez idatzi izana ongi etorria emateko.
In addition, we experienced the worst possible customer service by the bar tender Miguel Angel, who jot only did not show communication skills towards us in Spanish, but also communicated in a very arrogant, unhappy, vicious and not pleasant way towards me. He clearly is not fit to be up front on that bar, and the taximan also highlighted to me that everybody is complaining about it. If this person is not fit to work, please let someone with more energy, customer facing skills take over asap, for a best service for the Hotel. It clearly dropped our service expectations, after paying 350€ you would expect a top knot service with at least a polite person.

The location and views are absolutely spectacular, easily 10/10. There is plenty of parking close to the hotel, and the normal €3 entrance fee to the parking area is waived for hotel guests. Our room had all the amenities we needed, and both the air-conditioning and mini fridge worked very well.
The hotel doesn’t live up to its spectacular location. Our room was functional but rather sparse and lacked warmth or character, and the soundproofing was very poor. Service was slow and inefficient, and we didn’t find the staff particularly friendly.
Breakfast was particularly disappointing. The selection was small and virtually identical every day, the coffee wasn’t good, the scrambled eggs were very runny, and the cooked eggs had turned green. On our second morning they had run out of yogurt more than an hour before breakfast ended. We actually brought our own cheese and pepperoni to breakfast.
Overall, the hotel feels like it needs some TLC. With this location and these views, it could be an exceptional hotel, but the experience currently falls well short of its potential.
