The property was really modern with great facilities. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and went above and beyond. Especially when we ate lunch in the restaurant. A member of staff overheard we were on our honeymoon and brought us a little package to celebrate. He was also extremely attentive all the way through the meal and very friendly. We made use of the spa facilities and had a deep tissue massage which was probably one of the best massages I’ve had. Highly recommend. The location was great, really close walk to the centre and only 15 minutes walk to the old town. The rooms were comfortable and had everything you need.

Everything about this hotel impressed me. My luggage had been collected from my taxi even before I was aware this had happened. I received a lot of detailed help about how best to transfer to Hendaye, before my trip on to Paris. Having an elevator that takes you down to the main street level in the city was a real bonus, giving you the best of both worlds: easy access and a hotel situated to give an amazing view over the city and out to the sea. I was given an upgrade, so my room was really luxurious, to the extent that I would have been happy to stay there and enjoy the well-stocked bar and the view! Dinner in the hotel was very good and so was breakfast.
The decor in the public areas, although impressive, was a bit 'bling' for my personal taste, but this wasn't really an issue for me.

When we arrived at the hotel with no luggage at 9.45pm & after a long stressful drive from the airport (opposite side to Australia) the staff were amazing. A big shout out to: Sergio for being calm & amazing at the front desk, the wonderful Lara in the restaurant for staying open a bit longer to give us some much needed food. Super amazing Jon front desk for calling the airlines several times, including creative storytelling to chase up our luggage and the absolutely amazing Susana from the restaurant for being my Spanish teacher. Learning new phrases. Everyone was amazing and the property was excellent.
