I liked the location and the staff and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean.
I didn’t like the shower in the bath because I couldn’t get into it - but that was my fault for not trying to book something different.
There were a lot of stairs!

Our sink was not working properly (plunger) also front door lock was problematic and the outside light above door not working.

Had a room 205 (dog friendly), it was a corner room with a bath tub, which is unusual for dog rooms, and was a lovely surprise. The location was amazing as it was just around the corner from the train station. All the staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and smiley. Not cracking even when couple of Karens were giving them a hard time for no reason.
Despite paying extra for a dog friendly room, there wasn’t even a dog water bowl provided. Had to ask at the bar. The heating wasn’t working and it was chilly. The English breakfast on the first day was quite small, had to make our own toasts, the toaster wasn’t plugged in.

Lovely staff nice surroundings downstairs
Room was noisy being right on the high street. Couldn't open up the secondary glazing to ventilate room. Uncomfortable mattress (very lumpy) and hard pillows
