About this resort
Our Cliffside resort overlooks the Sawangan Beach and the Indian Ocean. We have four pools, a sand lagoon, a 30-yard waterslide, and several tennis courts.

When we first approached the hotel, we were very surprised as to how luxurious it looks. The greeting by the staff was great until we hit the check in desk where a member of staff took us through like a factory check list - we realised her style was the exception to the general greeting rule. We were then put in a room that had construction next to it. We went down to the desk and expressed our concerns and the duty manager was extremely considerate and gave us another room. The pool Villa was out of this world and the most amazing room we had stayed in Bali. So much so, we felt sad to leave it each day and loved being there. The buffet was brilliant and the staff were so friendly- remembered names and also went out of their way to have conversations. For such a luxurious resort, they made us feel at home. The spa was brilliant. The staff were incredible, it's right next to the pool and beach. The prices are reasonable too.
They could have informed us about the construction - although it did work in our favour. If you are out and about on the expansive grounds, water is expensive- UK prices. Other hotels offered free water, so something to consider. Otherwise everything else was just idyllic. Thank you so much. Style, substance, warmth and kindness. Highly recommend

Beach
Booked lagoon room to celebrate our birthdays. Was instead given a "upgrade" room, not what we wanted. Was also promised a cake and found this (photo) in the "upgrade" room, looked staged from the get-go Interesting ! No communication.to us PS... A small (edible) cake did arrive the second night after complaining.
