Lovely resort, the staff were very kind and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Palace part of the resort.
There were always sun loungers around the pool and on the beach

We spent 5 nights in the Ayoyda Palace with our 3 and 5 years old kids.
What we liked :
- the spacious suite room and comfortable extra beds for our kids
- the kindness of the staff
- the beauty of the hotel in Balenese style, with pretty decorations and luscious tropical settings
- the free bikes (including bikes with kids seats) that you can take to stroll all the front beach side, easily 45min bike ride near the beach that is super nice
- good Australian wine available at the Palace every night from 6-7.30pm
Note. If you stay at the Palace the food is less varied than at the main lobby breakfast buffet (where they even offer sushi’s for breakfast).
The reason we rated 7/10 is because the food quality was low and disappointing for breakfast, at all the restaurants we tried (Ayoyda grill, Waterfall restaurant), and during the appetizers and tea time of the Palace. Honestly it was a shock for us given the reviews on food are not bad. If you book this hotel for its multiple other qualities, you should go outside to have lunch and dinner. The breakfast is included though and not great except for the amazing coffee.

Staff very helpful, food in palace is good, Indian restaurant very good and reasonable.
Loads of sun loungers no issue finding one.
Bathrooms in both rooms smelt very bad and no amount of complaints to the hotel resulted in any action taken.
Rooms in general felt a bit tired and old fashioned.
