Absolut unmenschliches Personal, bzw. Management!! Wir mussten aufgrund eines Motorschadens unsere Rundreise abbrechen u haben das Novotel 7 Tage vor geplanter einreise informiert mit der Bitte einen Teil unserer 100 % Vorauszahlung zu erstatten. NICHTS 0 Euro geben sie zurück, trotz 0 % erhaltener Leistung, richtig Stark, sagt für mich alles aus was ich über dieses Hotel wissen muss!!!! Nur zum Vergleich, wir hätten noch 4 weitere Hotels angereist, ALLE anderen haben erstattet, 3 davon sogar zu 100 %

Good hotel but facilities are not good enough !!

The hotel is clean and good. However, we were surprised that the room was smaller that we thought. There was no extra lock on the entrance door. The toilet and shower room doors also NO locks - unbelievable !! And there is no refrigerator inside each standard rooms.

Please must put locks on the entrance door, toilet & shower room doors! Also, it is better to put one small refrigerator in the room ! At least we can keep some drinks or even milk !

Good location, easy to travel to and from hotel and generally pleasant staff.

The location was good and the commute to the hotel was very easy. The size of the room was fine with a decent size bathroom and toilet. Staff were generally polite and friendly.

The cleanliness was not what I expected. The headboard of the bed was dusty, which I had to clean before I could even sit on the bed. There was dust on the walls and doors, prominently visible. The water dispenser on the floor was never dusted or cleaned. The AC during the morning times was not as cool as the temperature displayed. 19 degrees display was like 23 degrees feel.

Clean, comfortable, great value, convenient location near public transport for easy access to city.

Helpful staff w great English (thank you), nice little children's area in foyer, LOVE the water stations and reusable glass bottles, super clean and simple but stylish rooms. Loved the location close to trams for easy access to city and hotel gave us free tram passes.

Would be great if there was a little fridge in the room. I thought room service was available but then couldn't find information about it. The restaurant didn't seem very inviting - should advertise more about menu including any local cuisine on offer.

Breakfast was excellent with variety of food. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable for the family of four. Connection to the city was excellent.

Good location, 5 minutes on tram to old town, and 15 min to main train station, easy with free transport.

Very friendly staff, rooms are great, recently upgraded. Tram stop right out front and the hotel gave us a 24hr free local transport card

The barrier let's car in although there are no more parking lots available. It was - due to a concert nearby - a pure chaos driving in, not been able to park the car properly etc. Why doesn't the barrier stay closed when there are no more parking slots available?

It was very clean. It had a parking garage (although one seemingly should have luck to find a spot there). We needed a place to sleep during a longer car trip and the hotel served its purpose without being anything special. We didn't have time to visit the old town but there seemed to be a good tram connection to the hotel.

The room was spacious with big TV and the temperature inside was good The bed was acceptable and I could sleep without issues The presence of a water fountain and clean empty bottles to use them

The shower was not really good There is no gym room The parking garage is expensive and the parking places very narrow The whole building looks somehow old

close to tram

restaurant cost a bit pricey. also drinks from lobby were very expensive. we bought same beers and sodas from a lidl store down the street for 90% less cost.

Fantastic Stay

Staff was very helpful. Muhammad at the reception was really helpful in checking us in. A thorough gentleman. Location was great and close to a tram stop. Room cleaning staff was asked twice to clean the room even though we did not want room cleaning during our 2 day stay. Parking was really easy.

Breakfast was good but not as good as it should be for a 4 star hotel. May need to add few more items on the menu. Though parking was really easy but EUR22 per day was a bit high considering it was an in-house parking.

Exceptional

I hesitated to book this hotel at first because of the distance from the main train station, but we were able to use tram(#9) between the hotel and main station which is very easy and convinient. The tram stop is right across from the hotel. No problem to go to main train station as well as downtown Bern. Definitely want to come back. The staff was excellent. We had good memories with this hotel because of them. 🙂
