Very well-located, nice complementary tea and coffee, cute paintings of bears.
I never got a free ice cream because the fridge disappeared, and had some wifi trouble.

A medium sized hotel tucked around the corner from the historic centre of the city. Take me 5 minutes to walk from the railway station. The area around reception had comfy seats, Bookshelves, free tea and coffee, etc. Staff were very friendly, and spoke great English. My small room looked out into a courtyard, and at that side of the hotel was very quiet. I do everything you'd expect, and it all worked. It was all very clean. Had breakfast there, which was basic but Perfectly reasonable, and a fair bit cheaper than anywhere else.
Really nothing beyond it being quite expensive. Rated as a full star hotel, This might be pushing it a little bit. I don't regret staying here though, and might do if I ever returned to Bern.
