1. 96% humidity (I had humidity meter, I measured it) even the bed and sheet was wet from the humidity! 2. No internet at all, I tried everywhere and no room had Wi-Fi. 3. Seagull nests everywhere in the hotel so you should forget about peaceful sleep. Following is the whole story: I arrive at the igoudar hotel and found out that the hotel is completely closed and no one is there, I wrote them immediately a message asking if there's another entrance and waited there but no answer, I roamed the area asking people and shops if they knew something about that hotel, but no one had a clue, so after nearly an hour in the street not knowing what to do I decided to go to Apart hotel Tagadirt and ask them to use their phone to call igoudar because I didn't have Moroccan sim card, so they oh we took over igoudar reservations because they're doing renovations, and the thing is Tagadirt didn't find my reservation, so igoudar didn't only inform me about their situation, but also didn't give my reservation to Tagadirt, after making many phone calls they lodged me in but the room hat 100% humidity, the sheets and bed were wet, they had no internet however they gave me the Wi-Fi password, so I went back to the reception and told them the Wi-Fi doesn't work, they said "ya maybe doesn't work in your room, we'll change the room" and then started talking with each other in Arabic not knowing that I know fluently know Arabic, they were saying "we'll not tell him we don't have internet but we'll show him some other rooms and check for Wi-Fi and then he'll get back to his room, so they asked me to go with them searching some other room and checking the Wi-Fi there and acting to my face that in the free rooms there's unfortunately no Wi-Fi, so they continued humiliating me. This is not the way hotel guests should be treated, not from Igoudar and not from their alternative Tagadirt.

Unpleasant stay in an unclean hotel

The location

Firstly the hotel doesn’t actually exist, it’s closed down. We were ferried to another hotel nearby, not the one we booked, and shown to a room that was unclean, full of dead bugs, hair in the sink and in the bed.

WE ESCAPED TO ANOTHER HOTEL ....

The weather in Agadir was OK! in january.

Instead of Residence Igoudar we were sent to another hotel ?! And in that hotel none of the nice promises (told by Booking.com) came true.... Instead of the original longer stay - we fled to another nice hotel

Superb

in winter 16 euro’s a night for appartement with kitchen and bath. swimming pool and close to the beach

could be cleaner and was hastily finished with painting etc.

Good value, functional appartment, airy and good view 4th floor.

Essentially igoudar is undergoing works so we were put into Tagadirt next door ( same owners) slighly nicer designs. Room had soace and a great view. Kitchen OK but needs updating. Hot water. All doors and windows need wirk but OK. Nice pool which gets sunshine until sunset.

Inner door has no key but can lock if closed. Needs old lock removed. Only one key for three adults. Wifi only on balcony (slow) or reception/pool (good)

A pleasant week's stay.

The Igoudar Residence is a value for money, basic hotel. It has a faded charm to it and with a little maintenance, it could be superb. Rooms serviced everyday, very friendly staff, lovely pool area, again, needs a bit of updating. All round, good value for money, great location and rooms with sea views. Reception area is lovely. WiFi only works in reception, which is a problem for most guests. Thanks... A nice week's stay. Could do with brightening up with a few more pot plants etc.

Absolutely nothing except for the man that showed us the room, he was polite and considerate

There is nothing to like honestly, dirt everywhere, the furniture is disgusting, the toilets scary, and the rooms smell as if like they weren’t open in ages. The hotel needs some serious work and I won’t recommend it to anyone. Ps: after we saw our “room” we immediately asked for a different one. The other room is worst than the first.. and so we asked for a refund which we got. ( I don’t mean to be harsh but this is my honest description for what I saw ).

DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE

This place took mr by surprise. During the c-in I was asked to pay by cash, they couldn't accept the card ,saying the PDQ was not working. It never worked and got to withdraw money by card and paid. I feel simply they do such, to avoid bank charges.Staff really don't care about providing a service and they really don't care. I would say, its a shocking customer service and they ready to challenge you rather than seeing how poor the product that they selling. We were given Dirty rooms , even the WC was not flushed , and hair on bed and empty bottle water all where. its been cleaned , only the House keeping staff was interacting in a positive way. The Hotel is really out dated and I was shamed that I booked this place by looking at the pics on website. No toilet papers provided, dirty towels , we glad that we were carrying our own. Kitchen got a cooker and its full of rust. same with kettle which never worked. Swimming pool with lot of chlorine which make our eyes swollen. this place has no standard and shouldn't be in business. On 2nd day there was no running water at all. no update given and booked a different Hotel as we need shower.Very poor customer service.

Apparently it was an important hotel in the past, it has a design of a 4*studio hotel, the location is good , it's about 10 min away from the beach "la corniche" on foot. 👎. Good prices ... Having a swimming pool

Location, superb staff. Ideal for singles, especially males, who simply want a bed for the night

I've stayed here many times when I've visited Agadir. The staff are superb. The facilities are basic but it's incredibly cheap. Not ideal for families but for singles or small groups of friends, especially males, it's ideal.

You get what you pay for so don't expect a five star hotel for two star money.

Spacy room, clean enough and surrounding calm most of the time.

The room was just without any extra decorations do it felt cold, and equipment was just old.

The location is perfect ,all staff very friendly and helpful especially the house keepers

There wasnt anything not to like this was our 4th year and we always look forward to coming back
