Good location, especially good having field to walk dogs in very close.

The staff were outstanding! Everyone was very friendly and polite and the restaurant lady (sorry I do not know her name, had her hair in ponytail!) went out of her way to accommodate our large family as we chaotically met up to eat and drink in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast- such a lovely person! The grounds were beautiful and even though the hotel was really busy it felt so calm and relaxing. Everywhere was VERY clean. The food was good, tasty, hot on arrival at the table and a fair hotel price.
The bedroom was a little small although I did have a mobility scooter and was offered a room on the ground floor so I probably should have taken the receptionists offer! The bed was sooo bouncy my hubby a pretty big chap and every movement had me bouncing on the other side HA HA HA. I guess the hotel is dated in some areas but I found that quite charming. The button on the lift was terrifying!

Beds comfortable
Had a dog with us emailed ahead that we had one no treats for dog or basket in our room room was noisy as near motorway but i understand as all dogs must go there we wont bring dog again as he didnt settle to noisy ,we stay regulary
