The location for the purposes was fine.
A heavy duvet was provided which was far too heavy for the time of year. Spent part of the night sleeping on top of it. The pillows were hard. Ventilation was very pour. Single glazed windows ment very little reduction in traffic noise. Toilet being flushed in room next door was so noisy. Stayed at this venue as it was a pub. Had only one ale available on tap and despite having two others on show these weren't available and would not be so during the duration of our stay. All you eat continental breakfast consisted of one croissant and one pastry being available for the two of us. The pub side of the venue really let our stay down. Would not recommend this venue.

Firstly, the staff - absolutely wonderful! A very warm welcome upon arrival and nothing but exceptional customer service throughout. Secondly, the room was fantastic ! very clean and looked after, with a super comfy bed ! Would certainly stay again.
The only caveat to the stay is that I wish for the food portions to be a little bigger. Not to say that the food wasnt amazing, which it was. just felt that the plates didnt seem as full.

The room was clean and serviceable, with a nice large bathroom and good shower. Staff were friendly and the pub had a nice atmosphere in the evening.
Unfortunately hot breakfast was not available in the morning due to a kitchen issue. We understand this wasn't the hotel's fault but was a disappointment as we had a long walk ahead of us and based on reviews the breakfast seemed to be the main appeal of the hotel. Room was fine but very small, you wouldn't want to stay more than one night.

Location perfect for where I needed to be.
Breakfast cooked to order, lovely to have freshly cooked food.
Plenty of parking.
Main course in the evening was spot on.
Opened the wardrobe to get another pillow and found a Rentokil rat pellets box. Absolutely vile!
At the bar, booked dinner for 7pm, was told probably didn't need to book but would book me in anyway. I arrived in thd restaurant to find I hadn't been booked in and there weren't any tables available so I'd have to find my own table in the bar. Unimpressed, the bar was dark and dreary, the restaurant light and airy. After having mains, ordered desert, after waiting 35mins I questioned where it was, it turned another 10mjns later. It was supposed to be Eton Mess with Raspberrys, no raspberrys no apology for lateness.
